Don’t worry if you don’t get the chance, we have lots of Autumn finds on our field that the children will get the chance to collect.

🎉 Celebrating One Year of Chloe as Nursery Manager! 🎉

Today marks one whole year since Chloe officially became Nursery Manager at Mucky Munchkins. 💜

With over 20 years of experience in the early years profession, Chloe brings a huge amount of knowledge, care and dedication to Mucky Munchkins. Having been part of our nursery for 9 years, including 7 years as Deputy Manager, Chloe had already been an integral part of Mucky Munchkins for many years before taking on the Manager role, contributing so much to the setting, our team and the way the nursery has developed

Over those years, Chloe had built strong relationships with our children, families and team, developed a deep understanding of the setting and played an important part in the way Mucky Munchkins has evolved. That experience, alongside everything she had already contributed to the nursery during her 7 years as Deputy Manager, made stepping into the Manager role feel like such a natural next step.

Chloe’s positive impact on Mucky Munchkins is something we have seen throughout her 9 years with us, and over the last 12 months that influence has continued to grow through her role as Manager. She has been central to the change, development and progress we have seen, with her leadership helping to shape both where Mucky Munchkins is now and where we are heading next.

Her influence can be seen throughout Mucky Munchkins - in the team, in the environment, in the support given to our children and families, and in the continued drive to keep developing and improving what we do.

Chloe has been right at the heart of Mucky Munchkins in every sense- from the day-to-day life of the nursery with our children, families and team, to the decisions, development and planning that keep us moving forward. Her experience, commitment and genuine passion for early years have been invaluable, and the positive impact she has made on Mucky Munchkins throughout her 9 years with us has been a real privilege to see.

When we announced Chloe as our Manager last year, we said her passion and commitment to Mucky Munchkins were incomparable - and one year later, that couldn’t be more true.

🌈 A Little Update on Our 2027 & 2028 Places

We’ve already had some lovely interest, and with our 2027 availability now very limited, we also wanted to remind families that it’s never too early to start thinking ahead- because we are already welcoming enquiries for 2028 too. 💜

Choosing a nursery is such a big decision, and for us it has always been about so much more than simply providing childcare. At Mucky Munchkins, we want every child to feel safe, secure, valued and completely at home within our nursery family. Our strong family ethos is at the heart of what we do, with each child supported as an individual and encouraged to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.

All About Me - Creating Faces with Food

Today, the children thoroughly enjoyed reading a book centred on the theme of individuality 'I Like Myself'. They took great pleasure in examining the illustrations and making connections.

We talked about the various features we could identify, such as “two eyes” and “one mouth.”

Following that, the children had fun using different foods to create their own faces! They relished the opportunity to design their personalised faces. We incorporated vocabulary such as “soft,” “sour,” “wet,” and “small.”
