Due to the expansion of early years funding and our nursery numbers growing, we are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, forward thinking Early Years Practitioner to support in our childcare rooms here at Moorlands. We have term time positions available.

Essential skills we require:
- Be able to support and uphold the nursery vision and ethos
- Be able to safeguard our children, this will include undergoing a full DBS check and safer recruitment procedures
- Strong team working skills
- Hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years Childcare or be willing to work towards (level 2 or 3)

At Moorlands, we have been recently deep diving into the ‘screen time world’ and are actively trying to support parents knowledge on the challenges that our ‘tech heavy’ world can bring.

Of course there are lots of benefits to technology, but it is important to identify how much screen time is actually appropriate for our little ones! Look out for more information coming soon at nursery!

April Out of School Club! 🐰🌻

We’re running our holiday club care through the April half term, our current dates are the week commencing the 30th of March, and the 6th of April (not opening bank holidays)

Our club is priced at £25.00 per session, and is inclusive of all meals, drinks and activities planned that day. We are open 7:30-18:00pm, and run alongside most of the school term dates!

Our Easter itinerary is as follows:
Monday 30th - Children’s Choice 💭
Tuesday 31st - Spring Walk 🚶🏼‍♀️
Wednesday 1st - Egg-cellent Day 🥚
Thursday 2nd - Sports Day ⚽️
Tuesday 7th - Planting Fun 🌱

🍽️ We’re Hiring a Nursery Cook! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic nursery cook to join our team on a part-time basis.

What you’ll be doing:
• Preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for our little ones
• Catering for special dietary requirements and allergies
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
• work collaboratively with nursery staff to promote healthy eating habits

What we’re looking for:
• understanding of children’s nutritional needs
• Knowledge of food hygiene
• ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A friendly, reliable team player

Looking for childcare for your 3 or 4 year old? We have a number of spaces available for some April or September 2026 starts!

These spaces are filling fast, but we're here to support your child in getting ready for their next steps in education, before they start their journey at primary school!

Most 3-year old's are able to claim universal 15 hours of funding for a childcare place, however you could be eligible for up to 30 hours of funding (depending on your financial and working circumstances!)
