A great 4 days at Abersoch for the Miracle Dinghy Class Association national championship in which 3 Delph boats took part
Wayne Atherton and Angela Sweeney finished 2nd and might have won race 9 if it hadn't been abandoned.
Ian and Lilly Brown won the Bronze Fleet and were the highest placed parent and child but the stars of this week were surely Millie and Annabel Hayfield who were getting better and better with every race.
They finished 2nd in the bronze fleet and Millie won the highest place youth helm whilst Annabel won the highest placed junior crew.
Delph also had the most boats (3) and we are looking to come back to Abersoch in 2-3 years as part of dinghy week.

It's been an incredibly busy weekend out on the road with Delph sailor Billy Morris finishing 2nd on countback just behind winner, and friend of DSC, Lewis Bacon, in the Sailfast Welsh National ILCA4 championships.
A fabulous result!

A massive thanks to everyone who attended our fundraiser for Lancashire Youth Sailing last night with double Olympic Medallist Stuart Bithell and entrepreneur Michael Wilson who has already given this incredible organisation a generous amount of financial support.
Through ticket sales, a duck naming game and a raffle, we have raised well over a thousand pounds so far for LYS .
If you haven't had a chance to help out yet, the Crowdfunder is scheduled to close this weekend.
