On Friday, our Mega Stars children enjoyed a wonderful visit to Smithills Open Farm for their leavers’ trip! 🌟

They had a fantastic day exploring all the different animals, taking part in exciting experiences, and using their amazing listening ears throughout the day. We are so proud of how well they represented our nursery with their excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and curiosity.

It was a brilliant day full of fun, learning, and memories to treasure as they prepare for their next adventure. 😊

Today, our Mega Stars and Super Stars children enjoyed a fun football match in the garden to celebrate England’s victory over Mexico! The children showed fantastic teamwork, took turns, and encouraged one another throughout the game. It was wonderful to see everyone cheering each other on, having fun, and celebrating together. Well done, everyone! 🌟

This week, we have been adapting our activities to the extremely hot weather by exploring outdoors during the cooler parts of the morning and enjoying refreshing water play experiences indoors during the afternoons.
The children have loved exploring sensory lemon water play, experimenting with water and sand, and investigating the different flowers and herbs in our outdoor area. They have also enjoyed caring for our plants by helping to water them and learning how important it is to look after them during the hot weather. ☀️

✨ Introducing Tiny Stars! ✨
We’re delighted to share some exciting news with our families!
Many of you may remember that, years ago, we operated as a five-room nursery, including a dedicated baby room for our youngest babies. We’re thrilled to announce that this special room is reopening and has been renamed Tiny Stars.
Tiny Stars will officially open in September and will provide a nurturing, caring environment for babies aged 6 weeks to 15 months, with direct access to our new refurbished Bambino Garden! 🥰

We have limited availability for Tiny Stars from September, as well as spaces available across the rest of the nursery.
If you’re looking for a place for your little one and would like to come and see what we offer, we’d love to welcome you for a show round.

What a fun filled week our lovely Mini Stars babies have had, exploring different ways to create marks with paint, using cars, animals and their hands and feet! Along with lots of physical play outside in our builders yard. 😊

A huge congratulations to Harry for getting Team of the Half Term! Harry is a lovely, calming, and supportive member of our Hocus Pocus family. Along with a Bolton win at Wembley last weekend, it’s been smiles all round for him! 😊

What a wonderful May Half Term we have had at Hocus Pocus! We have enjoyed trips to the local park, exploring in our garden, and celebrating Eid by dressing up and listening to a special story together. It has been a fun-filled week full of learning, laughter, and new experiences for all the children.
