Just a little update for all of my passengers’ parents…

It’s been a bit of a rocky road since my surgery, but I’m pleased to share that I’m now on the mend and recovering well. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I’ve been taking time to recover.

I’m sorry if I’ve been a bit slow with replying to messages recently- I’ve become nocturnal! 🦉 I’m hoping to return to work on Monday 6th July, and before then I’ll make sure everything is up to date regarding refunds and rearranged sessions.

A huge thank you to everyone who has ordered a work pack. We’ve had some lovely feedback so far, and we’re really enjoying creating personalised activities for the children.

Just a little update…
My surgery went well and I no longer have a gallbladder 🥳. However, it wouldn't be normal if there wasn't a bit of drama thrown in too!

Unfortunately, I ended up back in hospital yesterday as the doctors suspect there could still be a stone causing some issues. I'm back home for now, and I have an appointment on Monday to repeat my blood tests and see where we go from there. As always- it doesn’t rain, it pours!

Thank you so much for all the messages I've received. Reading kind messages from my passengers has really cheered me up 😊. I'm sorry if I haven't replied to everyone yet- the morphine is making me very groggy and I'm asleep most of the day.

I’m finally out of hospital! 🥳🥳 My dad brought the dog along to pick me up 😂 After 10 long and very painful days, I’m finally back home where I belong and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve got my pre-op today, and then surgery is next Wednesday. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to getting back on my feet and back to normal- I’m not very good at ‘taking it easy’!

I’m missing all my passengers and I can’t wait to see them all soon. I’ll be contacting parents individually soon to discuss where we’re up to with payments, rearranging sessions & plans for over the summer.

Just a little update from me. Unfortunately, there isn’t much of one yet as I’m still in hospital and still awaiting procedures and surgery 😫

I do have some news to share though!

Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to Natassia, who will be working with some of my passengers from next week. She’s coming to the hospital tomorrow so I can give her a detailed handover before she starts, and I’ll be helping her plan sessions from my hospital bed! Natassia and I went to school and college together, and she shares the same passion I do when it comes to working with children. I know my passengers will be in very safe and capable hands until I’m able to return.

We’re also going to be finalising the work packs this week, so hopefully they’ll be ready to send out very soon!

Some exciting news...

Some of you may have noticed in recent photos and videos that we’ve started using more of our own resources to support children with their learning. We’ve spent every spare minute developing our ideas and bringing them to life, and we’re finally ready to start sharing them with you!

From phonics flashcards to role-play packs, we’ve got lots of resources available, with plenty more to come. We’ll continue adding new materials to the website, so be sure to check back regularly to see what’s new.

All resources will be available as digital downloads. However, if you don’t have access to a printer, please send us a message, as we can also provide printed and laminated copies.

A bit of a different Friday post today, as I’m still in hospital and still feeling very poorly 🤒 I should be having a procedure either today or on Monday, then I’ll be surgery ready for 10th June and finally on the road to recovery!

Natassia has been very busy putting together all the work pack orders, and I’ve been making more activities from my bed when I’ve been feeling up to it. We’ll let parents know when they’re ready to be sent out.

Parents- please tell all my passengers I said hello and I’m missing them all 😊

Unfortunately, following another gallbladder attack which resulted in another hospital visit, I will now be out of action until I have recovered from my surgery, which is on 10th June.

Anyone who has already made orders for work packs- these will still be completed and sent out before my surgery. I will also sort refunds and rearrange sessions as soon as I’m able to, and I’ll keep parents updated along the way as best I can.

Thank you so much for all your kind words and understanding- it means a lot! I’m very lucky to work with such a supportive group of parents 😊 I hate being out of action and I can’t wait to be back in TMC doing what I love!
