🚓👮‍♂️ On Friday, our Wise Owls had a very exciting visit from a police officer! 👮‍♀️🚓

The children enjoyed learning all about the important role of a police officer and how they help to keep people safe in our community.

The officer spoke to the children about the different types of police dogs and the special jobs they do. The Wise Owls loved asking questions and finding out more about police work! 🐕💙

One of the highlights of the visit was getting the chance to sit inside the police van and explore some of the equipment used by officers. 🚔✨

It was a fantastic hands-on experience that helped bring our learning about community helpers to life.

A huge thank you to our visiting officer for taking the time to share their knowledge and give the children such a memorable morning! 😊💙

This week at nursery, we’ve had lots of fun across all of our rooms! 🎉

🦉 Wise Owls celebrated a special birthday by baking some delicious cakes and enjoyed getting stuck into lots of messy play with slime.

🐿️ Squirrels had a fantastic time exploring coloured shaving foam during messy play and made the most of the outdoor area, enjoying plenty of fresh air and active play.

🌰 Acorns helped celebrate the lovely Michelle’s birthday! The babies had lots of fun playing with balloons, exploring the kitchen corner and taking part in sensory activities.

It’s been another wonderful week full of learning, exploration and smiles! 💛

☀️ What a fantastic Half Term Week at nursery! ☀️

We’ve certainly made the most of the lovely weather and enjoyed lots of fun outdoors! 🌞

💧 Our Acorns have loved cooling off with some exciting water play activities, splashing and exploring together.

🌿 The Squirrels have had a wonderful time playing in the Wise Owl garden, developing their physical skills and imaginations, as well as enjoying lots of fun in the paddling pool!

🎨 Our Wise Owls have been busy getting creative with a range of messy play activities, exploring different textures, colours and materials while having lots of fun with their friends.

We look forward to seeing all our children on Monday!

🦉 Wise Owls enjoyed some messy play and had a very special visit from the ducks and got to feed them some peas!🦆
🐿️ Squirrels have loved painting, exploring and playing outside in the rain ☔🎨
🌱 Acorns have had a lovely time enjoying the outdoor garden and making the most of the fresh air!

This week at Nursery✨

Acorns 🌰 and Squirrels 🐿️ had the best time at Smithills Farm—meeting, feeding and getting hands-on with lots of friendly animals 🐐🐑 such a lovely real-life learning experience!

Wise Owls 🦉 soaked up the sunshine outdoors ☀️ making the most of the warmer weather and spending time caring for their ducks 🐥💛 lots of smiles all round!

We’ve had some very special arrivals at the nursery this week 🐣💛

Our duck eggs have started to hatch and the children have been absolutely fascinated watching the tiny ducklings make their way into the world. It’s been such a lovely hands-on learning experience, helping the children understand life cycles, nature, and how to care for animals.

There’s been lots of excitement (and a few happy squeals!) as each new duckling arrives. They have even managed a l weekend break to stay with Lauren and her children. We can’t wait to continue watching them grow over the next few days 🦆✨

Wise Owls 🦉 have been getting creative with arts and crafts 🎨 and having lots of fun practising their football skills with Football Dan ⚽️

Squirrels 🐿️ have been loving outdoor play — splashing in puddles 💦, exploring textures by walking on bubble wrap, and getting stuck into some messy paint play 🎨

Acorns 🌰 have been busy building and creating with blocks 🧱 — helping to strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination!
