Students and their families celebrated at the annual Creative Arts Show Awards prizegiving ceremony at the University of Greater Manchester.

The awards, covering a wide range of arts disciplines, were hosted by Sam Johnson, Head of the University’s School of Arts and Creative Technologies.

Sam praised the students’ “fantastic work”, which will be on display to the public until Friday 19 June (excluding Sunday 14 June) on the University campus.

She said: “It’s always a huge honour for me to be here to launch this exhibition and it’s wonderful to have you all here today. I am sure you will be absolutely bowled over.

The arts and creative industries continue to flourish, diversify and thrive, whilst adapting to new technologies and a new world picture. Closer to home out students have continued to experiment, imagine, design, write and make.
