🧸 Teddy Bears’ Picnic 🥪

Our preschool children had a great time at their Teddy Bears’ Picnic today!

They started by making their own sandwiches before enjoying a picnic with their teddies and friends. The children tried a variety of different foods and were proud to eat the sandwiches they had made themselves.

During the picnic, everyone introduced their teddy bear, shared their name, and talked about why they had chosen to bring them. It was a lovely opportunity to encourage conversations, build confidence, and enjoy spending time together.

A lovely afternoon filled with good food, great company, and lots of smiles! 🐻

💛 Monthly Girls’ Dinner 💛

Every month we turn our lunch break into something a little more special. It’s a chance for our team to put the busy day on pause, enjoy some delicious food, catch up, and simply spend time together.

We know that when our team feels valued and connected, it shines through in everything we do. We’re so lucky to have such a supportive, hardworking group of amazing women who make our nursery the special place it is.

Starting Reception is a big milestone, and we’ve come across this lovely booklet full of simple activity ideas that families might find useful over the summer. 🌟

From practising dressing independently and recognising their name to fun listening games and obstacle courses, there are plenty of easy activities to enjoy together at home.

We hope you find some inspiration and have lots of fun giving a few of them a go. We’d love to hear which activities become your child’s favourites! 💙

I think we brought the England team luck by wearing our England/football kits yesterday. So I think we are going to have to do the same for each match. We will also need to plan lots more football themed activities to keep the luck going!! Come on England!!

⚽️🏴 We’ve had a fantastic day celebrating England’s first World Cup game! 🏴⚽️

The children have enjoyed getting into the football spirit with face painting, making and decorating delicious biscuits, and exploring a variety of football-themed tough tray activities throughout the day. 🇬🇧🎨🍪

There has been lots of excitement, creativity and fun as we’ve cheered on England and learned all about teamwork, taking turns and having fun together.

⚽ World Cup Football Day – Wednesday ⚽

As it's England's first World Cup game on Wednesday, we will be having a fun-filled football-themed day!

Children are welcome to come dressed in red, white, or any football kit of their choosing. We will be taking part in lots of exciting football activities throughout the day and celebrating the start of England's World Cup campaign.

We can't wait to see everyone's football outfits! 🏆⚽😊

Today Preschool have been learning about seasnails for world ocean day! They got to create their own snails out of play dough and have been looking at different sea creatures all day!
