This week we have been handing out ‘Breakfast on the Go’ bags that our children have lovingly made for Father’s Day! 🥐🧃

As part of National Smile Month, we’ve been working closely with the Healthy Families Team and taking part in the daily supervised toothbrushing scheme here at nursery. 🦷✨

Today, we were invited to be part of their new promotional video, showcasing just how simple the scheme is to follow and how much the children enjoy taking part each day!

The Healthy Families Team have also kindly provided every child with a toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, and a toothbrushing chart to take home, helping to support healthy habits both at nursery and at home. 🪥😁

Today we had a very exciting visit from Ollie at ZooLab, who introduced us to some of his not-so-traditional pets! 🐍🐸🕷️

The children had the opportunity to see, touch and even hold some amazing creatures while learning all about them, including what they like to eat and how they live.

We met a snake, African snail, tree frog, cockroach, tarantula and millipede! The children were incredibly brave, curious and full of questions throughout the session.

A huge thank you to Ollie for such a fun, hands-on learning experience. We loved meeting all of your fascinating animal friends! 🐌✨

Tasty Dips and Picky Bits 🥒
This week Pre-School made tzatziki, prepared cucumber and enjoyed eating it with olives and pitta.

This week at nursery we have been focusing on Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

The children have taken part in a range of calming and nurturing activities to support their wellbeing, including yoga, hand massage, mindful touch storytelling, bubbles, sound baths, foot spas, and planting our own herb garden 🌿

It has been a lovely opportunity to slow down, explore our senses, and help the children learn simple ways to relax and regulate their emotions.

A wonderful week of calm moments, connection, and care 💛

Preschool had a great time combining ingredients to prepare their houmous snack today! 🥣
