Reminder: National Emergency Alerts Test – Sunday 7th September
This Sunday, the UK government will carry out a national test of the Emergency Alerts system. Most mobile phones and tablets will receive a test message, along with a loud siren-like sound and vibration lasting about 10 seconds, even if the device is on silent.
✅ Please note:
This is only a test – no action is required.
The system is being tested to ensure it works in real emergencies, such as severe weather or other life-threatening situations.
As the test is on a Sunday, schools will not be affected, but children at weekend activities may still hear the alert if they have a phone or tablet with them.

We'd like to congratulate our class of 2025 on their fantastic GCSE results!
As a year group, they achieved 151 Grade 8-9s, 270 Grade 7- 9s, and seven passed the further maths qualification.
