A few pictures from babies and babies 2 this week. Rice and vehicle tuff tray 🚗 playdough and outdoor fun in the sun ☀️

This morning we enjoyed making the England flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 out of rice, we enjoyed watching the rice turn different colours and feeling the texture through our fingers and on our hands. We enjoyed moving it around and making shapes

In toddler room, we have been making Goldilocks and the 3 bears toast🐻. We all really enjoyed putting the banana and blueberry’s onto the toast to make the face come together, we also used our fine motor skills to spread the ingredients. They was so yummy and we all enjoyed getting messy😋

This week in Toddlers we have Been focusing on the World Cup we have been doing Different Activities some of the Activities the Children have liked are
-Playing Football scoring Goals against staff
- An creating Our Own Football shirts
We have also Had some children come into Nursery with Football shirts on shouting “Come on England “

Today babies 2 enjoyed painting using different size cars and trucks 🚗
They talked about the different colours and the marks that the wheels were making on the paper. 🎨🛞

We have had a busy week so far in preschool,we have been practising very hard for our preschool Graduation assembly soon.
We have been baking and made some delicious fairy cakes measuring out all our ingredients we needed and talking about helping out at home with cooking .
We have made some beautiful wall art all about weather and made rainbows with cotton wool balls and coloured rice .
We also played a game with Leanne learning all about different sizes using lots of objects
and deciding if they fit in our small or big box.
We've done junk modelling using our imagination to create patterns and spaceship and houses.
Today we have made animal rice cakes using some delicious fruit, Jam and honey and we enjoyed eating them for our morning snack.

Can you find the correct colour bear for the correct colour case? This morning we have had the compère bears in the water tray and using fishing nets and tweezers we have used our coordination skills to pick up the bears and place them in the correct colour cases. We correctly put the red bears in the red cases, yellow bears in the yellow case and so forth. We spoke about the different sizes of the bears from small to large and what different colours we had.
