Helping people get the right message across to loved ones and friends Great rates that won't be beat!!!

Hey, I have always enjoyed writing creatively to celebrate occasions and things like that so I thought I could help friends and family do the same, a lot of people find it hard to put feelings into words, that's what I can help with, also, if you just want something for fun, that's fine too.

Caleb and his new school friend.

Caleb loves going to school and seeing his friends. They make him feel happy and join in with his games and he joins in with theirs.

A new boy was starting at school that Caleb didn’t know, he wasn’t sure how to react.

“Daddy” said Caleb, “there’s a new boy at school on Monday”.

“That’s great” said dad, “are you going to be nice to him and help him?”

“Don’t know” said Caleb. He was a little bit scared of meeting new people, new people can be scary and make Caleb nervous.

“Well, what you could do, is say hello and show your new friend what to do in class” said dad, “that way, he knows someone will help him and you’ll make a new friend”.

“What should I show him?” Asked Caleb

“You can show him to play nicely, to listen and tidy up when the teacher asks” suggested dad.

“Can I show him numbers?” asked Caleb, excitement in his eyes and happiness in his voice.

“Of course you can” said dad, “but if he doesn’t want to then that’s ok too, people don’t always like that same things or games and that’s OK”.

Caleb thought it would be brilliant if his new classmate liked numbers like he does.

He hoped it would be the start of a special friendship with a new friend

Caleb's Lost Toy

Caleb loves his toys, he loves bouncing them, throwing them, sometimes even chewing them, but most of all, Caleb LOVES building his world with them.

He loves deciding how to start his adventure, will it be through the green jungle or across the purple mountains?

Will he use his favourite bird to fly through the levels, or the monkey to swing through the tall trees?

His world was his own, even mummy and daddy had to be shown the special ways to complete each level and help him count higher than ever. "Silly mummy and daddy" thought Caleb, as he watched them slowly learn the world he knows every day.

One day, on a puddle rainy day outside, Caleb was getting ready for his next adventure.

He had his blocks and his animals, he had his adventure snacks ready to eat and his juicy drink for when he was thirsty...but Caleb noticed something, where was Red Bird?

"MUMMY!" Shouted Caleb, "where's Red Bird?"

Mummy came into the play room..."I don't know sweetheart, we had him yesterday didn't we?" She said in the voice mummy's use when they see their child becoming upset.

"Yeah, but I don't know where he is now" said Caleb, a worried look creeping onto his face.

"Did you check your toy chest?" Asked mummy.

Caleb dashed over to his toy chest, knowing Red Bird MUST be in there, Red Bird would never leave without saying goodbye first...but Red Bird wasn't there.

"He's not there mummy, where else could he be?" Asked Caleb, a trembling lip starting to appear now, Red Bird had been on all his adventures from the moment he got him at Christmas.

Mummy checked under the table, Red Bird wasn't there. She checked behind the boxes against the wall, but Red Bird wasn't there either. She checked everywhere she could think of, she even checked the bin...but Red Bird was nowhere to be found.

Caleb was so upset, he cried for hours and hours, asking where Red Bird was and when he was coming back. Mummy tried to explain but Caleb didn't understand that Red Bird, was lost.

The next couple of days Caleb played with other toys, but he still missed Red Bird.

A few days later, mummy came into the playroom and asked Caleb if he wanted to talk about what had happened to Red Bird.

"I don't know where he is and I miss him a lot" said Caleb.

Mummy cuddled her little boy and said..."I know you miss Red Bird, I miss him too. I know he made you very happy and helped you complete all your levels and adventures. Sometimes we lose things we never want to, and it makes us sad for a while, but what you should do is, when you get sad about Red Bird not being here anymore, think of all the happiness you had with him, all the times he made you laugh and helped you fly through your levels and complete your adventures. Just because you can't see Red Bird anymore, doesn't mean you can't remember him forever and always be able to smile about the things you did together."

Caleb cuddled mummy and stayed quiet for a moment..."mummy, do you think Red Bird misses me too and wants to come and play but can't anymore?"

"Exactly" said mummy, "I'm sure Red Bird thinks about you all the time and wants to come back, but can't, that's all."

Caleb thought to himself "I miss you Red Bird but I love you and you will always make me happy when I think about you"

Caleb decided to carry on with his levels and his adventures because that is what he knows Red Bird, would want him, to do.

The End.

Two hundred years ago
In a broken and dark land
Was born a man into this world
That would lend a helping hand

With words as magically poetic
As Shakespeare in everyway
Charles Dickens is the wordsmith
We still read about today

From Oliver and Bleak House
To David Copperfield too
Reading these masterpieces
Is something you should really do

There has never been another
That captured the nation in such words as these
They will give you understanding
Of the poor’s plight and the riches ease

The lessons from these stories
Can still be learnt today
Read some of Charles Dickens’s novels
Hear what he had to say
