☀️ Week 3 of 5 at Bowness Holiday Camp has been another fantastic week! ☀️
We’ve had a great week so far, with lots of arts and crafts, kick rounders, water fights and plenty of other fun activities. It’s been wonderful to see everyone making new friends, building confidence and creating lots of happy memories along the way. 😊🎨💦⚽
We’re now over halfway through our Summer Camp programme, but there’s still plenty more fun to come over the next two weeks! 🌟

☀️🌿 We’re having a fantastic Summer Holiday Camp at Bowness! 🌿☀️
Our holiday camp is busy, vibrant and full of fun, with children enjoying a wide range of activities every day. From sports and outdoor games to arts, crafts and creative projects, everyone is staying active, making new friends and creating wonderful summer memories.
It’s fantastic to see so many happy faces getting involved, building confidence and trying new experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
We still have plenty more fun to come and can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings! ☀️🎨⚽🌳

A huge well done to the children who completed their home reading challenge this half term – we’re so proud of your effort and commitment!

To celebrate, the children earned a water fight… although we’re not sure the teachers were quite as pleased about ending the day completely soaked! 💦😂 Well done, everyone!

As the school year comes to a close, we’d like to wish our whole school community a wonderful and relaxing summer break.
We’re also delighted to share our recent feature in the Bolton Evening News this week – a fantastic celebration of all that makes our school special. Bowness is thriving, and we couldn’t be prouder of our pupils, staff and families for making it such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

🌟 Year 6 Show & Leavers’ Assembly 🌟
What a special afternoon celebrating our wonderful Year 6 children. They amazed us with a performance they had written and created themselves, showcasing their creativity, confidence and teamwork.
We also took time to look back on their journey at Bowness, sharing memories, laughter and moments that have made their time here so memorable. It was a heartfelt celebration of all they have achieved and the friendships they have built along the way.
As they prepare for the next chapter, we would like to thank them for the many contributions they have made to our school community. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

🎉✨ What a fantastic afternoon at our Year 6 Leavers Party! ✨🎉
The music was playing, the dance floor was buzzing and there were smiles all around as our Year 6 pupils enjoyed a well-deserved celebration with their friends.
From dancing and games to making memories together, it was wonderful to see everyone having such a great time. A perfect way to celebrate the end of an amazing year before our final farewells tomorrow.
Thank you, Year 6, for bringing your energy, laughter and enthusiasm – we hope you had as much fun as we did! 💙

🍅🫑 Year 3 had a fantastic time making seasonal puff pastry tarts! They tasted a variety of seasonal vegetables, designed their own tarts, carefully prepared the ingredients, and enjoyed eating their delicious creations at the end. A brilliant afternoon of creativity and trying new foods! 🥕🥬🍴

Our Year 3 and Year 4 children have been having a fantastic time at Food Skills Club, creating a delicious range of sweet and savoury treats! 😋
As well as preparing tasty snacks, the children have been developing important kitchen skills, including safe chopping techniques, mixing ingredients, measuring, and learning all about good food hygiene. 🧼👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
From fruity creations to savoury delights, everyone showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they explored new ingredients and practised essential life skills.
Well done to all our budding chefs – we can’t wait to see what you make next! 🌟

🎵✨ Summer Musical Showcase with Mr Martin ✨🎵
A huge thank you to all of our parents and carers who came along to support our Summer Musical Showcase with Mr Martin. It was wonderful to see so many families celebrating the children’s achievements and enjoying a fantastic afternoon of music together.
Our talented children sang their hearts out and showcased their skills on a variety of instruments, demonstrating confidence, enthusiasm and teamwork throughout. Despite the very warm weather, they performed brilliantly and should be incredibly proud of themselves!
Well done to all of our young musicians, and thank you again to everyone who came along to cheer them on. 🎶☀️👏

☀️🏃‍♂️ Year 3 enjoyed a fun game of Jagtag in PE this morning! With the weather being very warm, we stayed in the shade and had a great time developing teamwork, agility and coordination skills. Well done, Year 3! 🌳💚 ActiveLearning
