Year 1H have been keeping cool this afternoon at the class spa. The children soaked their toes in cold water and cooled their heads while sipping on their drinks. Afterwards, they lay down and listened to calming music with cucumber slices on their eyes. Our spa afternoon finished off with a tasty ice pop! We have had a lovely day. 😎☀️

Year 1H had a fabulous trip to Smithills Farm today. The children fed the animals, held chicks and rabbits, watched the cows be milked, enjoyed a tractor ride, had ice cream in the shade, and played in the park. 🐮🐷🐥

The children have been busy exploring, investigating and developing their skills through lots of exciting activities. It has been lovely to see their confidence grow as they learn through play. Well done Nursery and Reception- what fantastic learners you are! 🌟

Year 4 brought the digestive system to life today with a practical experiment that reinforced their recent science learning. As they are also exploring this process in English, the hands-on experience helped deepen their understanding. Even if we did have a few vinegar spillages along the way! 🧪🍌

Year 4 had a fantastic time taking part in a Roman workshop with Bolton School! The children made their own Roman shields and even practised a Roman army formation!!🛡️🛡️
