What an emotional day it’s been! 🥹🥹 we’ve shared birthdays, Christmas, Halloween and Easter to name just a few…….we’ve laughed and cried together and been on so many adventures I can’t count!

Watching you all grow together has been the greatest gift and Rex has friends for life 🤍🤍🤍

To my parents….for trusting me with your little ones means the world 🌍 your thoughtful gifts mean so much, thank you 🤍

I’m taking some time off from childminding now to spend time with my own children but I’m hoping to open my doors again and welcome a new team one day in the future 🌿

It’s been all about Easter today 🐣

We’ve had a wonderful day with our friends from Horwich and blackrod childminders celebrating Easter 🐰🐰

We even had a winner in the Easter bonnet parade 👏🏻👏🏻 And it was a difficult decision with so many amazing hats!! 👒

A whole year watching my little team grow up 🥹

Looking after 3 children under 3 whilst juggling my own family did come with it’s challenges but just looking at the pictures shows how much it was worth it 💕💙💙

So much fun with these little ones celebrating Chinese new year with crafts, food tasting and meeting a real snake 🐍
We’ve been working on our gross motor skills and balancing at Gym tots and I’m amazed by how much they’ve all learnt in just a few weeks 👏🏻👏🏻🤩🤩

‘With a little help from my friends’

October was a difficult month, saying goodbye to our best friend 🐶 there was a big feeling of emptiness around the cottage felt by all of us.

But together we made it through and managed to squeeze in lots of adventures too…..

As we opened our doors this morning we were missing someone special to us all 🐶💔

‘Woof woof’ was always waiting to greet the children, eat the food they dropped, chase them around the house and give the best cuddles. Wherever the children were playing, Woof woof would be right next to them.

Although he’s no longer in our house he will always be in our hearts 🐶💙

This week we’ve been learning how to be mindful and look after ourselves and our friends. We’ve shared hugs, kindness and lots of laughter!
We used lavender and chamomile essential oils in play dough🪻, did some yoga 🧘, read books about our feelings, talked about how we all felt and shared hugs when we were sad!

Thank you to our childminder friends who also joined in with our activities and are always there for advice or a chat 🙏🙌🏻

This month we are learning how to share nicely, use our manners, tidy away our toys and care for our friends…..so far we are absolutely smashing it!! 🤩🙏🙌🏻
