We recently received an email from The Health and Wellbeing Awards 2026 to let us know we have been nominated for Swim School of the year 2026 🥂

Whilst we’re incredibly grateful that someone thought of us and took the time out of their day to submit the nomination, our greatest sense of achievement has always come from the swimmers and families we work with every week 🏊‍♀️

For us, the real measure of success comes in the form of

🥇Nervous swimmers finally gaining the confidence to jump in

🥇 Our team working together to provide the best support for your little one

🥇 Watching your little one start as a beginner and progress through the stages as they turn into strong competent swimmers

🥇 Being on hand to answer any questions you have about your kids swimming lessons, helping to put your mind at ease

🥇 Building relationships with our swimmers and families (many of these have flourished into friendships!) 🥹

🥇 Using our expertise to guide swimmers through ALL stages of the learn to swim programme (did you know we are qualified from baby swimming right through to coaching at competition level?!)

We’re so proud of what AquaStars has built over the last 10 years, and even prouder of our amazing team, community of swimmers and families who make it what it is.

To whoever nominated us — thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🩵

We’d love to find you and send you a little something for your kindness and support.

Awards or no awards, we’ll keep doing what we love best: helping children become confident, capable and safe in the water.

Thank you to all of our swimmers for being part of AquaStars 🥹🩵

💫 My reality of trying to work this summer 😆

Sunday morning 9am 😴 one kid training in the pool, the other on my knee, trying (and failing 😂) to update all the registers ready for our return to the pool in a couple of weeks 🩵

This term has a particularly emotional ending for us, as we’ve said goodbye to several of our original AquaStars families – the swimmers who joined us when we first opened our doors 10 years ago.

Watching these children grow from nervous beginners into confident, capable swimmers has been one of the greatest privileges of our journey and we would like to say a HUGE thank you!

To all of our first families…thank you so so very much for supporting us, believing in us, trusting us to teach your children over the years and for sticking with us whilst we navigate the minefield that is being a small business owner.

We will be forever thankful for your patience, for teaching us so much about how to provide the best customer service and its importance in developing relationships that turn into friendships.

By promoting us to your friends and family, your loyalty has allowed us to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for hundreds (possibly even thousands!) of swimmers across Bolton and we feel so grateful.

While we are incredibly sad to see our lovely swimmers move on, we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve accomplished and the wonderful young people they have all become.

You will always be the start of our AquaStars story x
