Last week, our preschool children were very lucky to enjoy a walk to the library. We loved listening to stories and exploring a range of books together! π
Visits like these help to develop early literacy skills, encourage a love of reading, and build childrenβs confidence in accessing community resources. The children enjoyed talking about the stories, making predictions, sharing their ideas, and choosing books that interested them.
Being out in the local community also provides valuable opportunities to learn about the world around us, practise road safety, and develop social skills in real life situations. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to visiting again soon! π

Mini Beast Hunt! ππ
Our preschool children have been busy little explorers this week! After enjoying a tray activity all about mini beast habitats, we took our learning outdoors to see what we could discover in real life.
Using our magnifying glasses, the children went on a bug hunt, searching carefully under leaves, in the grass, and around our outdoor area. There was so much excitement as we spotted different mini beasts and talked about where they live and why.
Itβs been a wonderful way to bring our learning to life while encouraging curiosity, observation, and a love for nature πΏβ¨
