Megan is a true asset to our team and consistently goes above and beyond in her role managing our Preschool room. Her hard work, dedication, reliability and consistency make such a positive difference to the children, families and the nursery team. 💕🌈

🐻🌿 We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! 🌿🐻

Our skill of the week is reciting stories using props, and our story of choice has been the much-loved We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! 📖🐻

After reading the story together, the children enjoyed an exciting sensory experience as they walked through their very own bear hunt! They explored different textures and environments inspired by the story, bringing the familiar words and actions to life. 🌳🌊

It was wonderful to see the children joining in with the repeated phrases, using props and retelling parts of the story as they explored. 🥰

“We’re going on a bear hunt… We’re going to catch a big one!” 🐻👣

✨ Week One of our refurbishment is complete! ✨

What a fantastic start! We can’t believe how quickly everything is coming along, and we’re already seeing such an amazing transformation. 🛠️🏡

Our brand new wall will create a quieter, cosier space for our babies, giving them a calm and comfortable environment to explore, play and rest. 🧸🤍 It’s a huge transformation from our previous open plan floor, and we’re so excited to see the finished space take shape!

Week one done… and we can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring! 👀✨

🌈🧁 Baking with The Colour Monster! 🧁

Today, our preschool children had lots of fun baking while exploring The Colour Monster and learning about our emotions. 💛

Baking gave us a wonderful opportunity to talk about our emotions in a fun and meaningful way, while developing our communication, confidence, turn-taking, fine motor skills and independence. 👩‍🍳

There were lots of smiles, messy hands and proud little bakers! 💕

🐻 We’re Going on a Bear Hunt! 🌿

As our new preschool children settle into their room, we have been enjoying learning our core stories, with a special focus on We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.

After reading the story, we created a wonderful tuff tray to bring the adventure to life! The children enjoyed exploring the different textures and retelling the story as they went on their very own bear hunt. 🌳🌊🌾

We wonder if they found a bear! 👀🐻
