Caring for a Butterfly! 🦋

One of our preschool children brought a butterfly into nursery on Friday, creating a wonderful opportunity for learning and discovery. As a group, we talked about the lifecycle of a butterfly and explored how it grows and changes.

After observing our little visitor, we carefully released him into the nursery garden, where he could continue his journey in nature. 🦋🌿

We are delighted to award Employee of the Month for July to Amy, who has been doing a fantastic job covering our baby room maternity leader position.

Amy has settled into the role brilliantly, helping our babies feel safe, happy and secure while building lovely relationships with them. She has also been a fantastic support to the team, helping to keep the room running smoothly and ensuring everyone is happy!

🚓 People Who Help Us! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

We were delighted to welcome a special visitor today as part of our People Who Help Us topic!

A police officer kindly visited us, showed the children around their police van, demonstrated the sirens, and talked to us all about what they do to help keep our community safe. The children loved asking questions and exploring the police vehicle!

A huge thank you to the family who arranged this wonderful experience for all of our children. Your kindness and support helped create a memorable and exciting learning opportunity that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! 💙🚔

Looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health, and it’s okay to talk, ask for help, and support one another.

Future Champions is a modern yet homely children's nursery providing child care for children between birth and four years of age in Horwich.

Jordan from the Nursery said that she wanted to become a Manbassador because - "Men don't always feel comfortable enough to open up. We have a lot of families involved in the nursery and we care for all of our families so we'd like to show them that we're involved, especially to show our male parents that we're here if they need support."

We’re collecting nursery and primary school uniforms to support local families who need them most.

If you have any unwanted or outgrown uniform in good condition, we’d be so grateful if you could donate it. Simply place your donations in the collection box at the nursery entrance.

Claire has gone above and beyond in supporting the nursery throughout an incredibly busy month. From helping to prepare for our Preschool Graduation and Leavers’ Trip to providing fantastic catering, decorating, organising, and supporting the team every step of the way, Claire’s hard work and dedication have been invaluable.

She has also played a key role in supporting our nursery fundraisers and helping to organise our events, always willing to help a hand wherever it’s needed.
