Better late than never!

A couple of weeks ago, after our Harvest Service, members of our Seeds and Gardeners groups had the privilege of delivering beautiful flower arrangements to residents at the local sheltered housing.

The flowers had been generously brought into school by our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils as their Harvest gifts. Meanwhile, children in all other year groups chose to support the work of World Vision through monetary donations, helping to sponsor a child and make a difference to the life of someone in need.

Our children enjoyed meeting residents and delivering the flowers, which were warmly received. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen links within our community and demonstrate our Christian values of kindness, service and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Harvest celebrations and helped us share God's love with others. We are very proud of our Seeds and Gardeners for being such fantastic ambassadors for our school. 💜🌻

❤️ Year 6 got to the heart of the matter this week! ❤️

Our Year 6 scientists rolled up their sleeves (and pulled on their gloves!) for a real heart dissection, led by the brilliant Mr Grundy from St Michael's CE High School.

As part of their learning about the circulatory system, the children explored the chambers, valves and blood vessels up close, seeing for themselves how this incredible muscle keeps us going every second of every day. There were plenty of gasps, a few "eurghs", and a LOT of fantastic questions!

A huge thank you to Mr Grundy, who kindly volunteered his time to give our pupils such a memorable, hands-on experience. We are so grateful, and we think you may have inspired a few future surgeons, doctors and scientists!

💥 A BRILLIANT LAST DAY! 💥

Year 6 have had an amazing final day at Robinwood! They have been absolutely fabulous over the last three days and should be incredibly proud of themselves — we certainly are! ❤️

A little reminder: please let the office know over the next week if any property is missing, so that we can contact the centre if necessary.

All children will receive their team photo and certificate in the next few weeks, and souvenirs will be handed out in school tomorrow.

A huge thank you to all the parents and families for helping to make this incredible experience possible for the children. We’re sure they’ll be sleeping very well tonight! 😴

We’re due back at 3:30pm — see you then! 💜
