🎨 COMPETITION TIME! 🎨
We are excited to announce that, due to popular demand, home learning planners will be returning to St Catherine’s from September!
To celebrate, we are launching a competition for children to design the front cover of next year’s planner. The winning artwork will appear on every planner across school!
Children should create their design on A4 paper and include our school name. We would love to see designs that reflect what makes St Catherine’s so special.

Please see the poster for full details and entry information.
We cannot wait to see the children’s amazing ideas!

As part of supporting our pupils to stay safe online, we are sharing some useful information for parents and carers around Discord and Roblox.
Recently, we have become aware of some concerns linked to pupils using Discord. While many children use online platforms to chat and play games with friends, it is important to remember that these apps can expose children to risks such as inappropriate content, contact from strangers and unmoderated conversations.
A few simple things can make a big difference:
• Check age ratings and privacy settings
• Regularly talk to your child about who they are chatting with online
• Monitor online activity where appropriate
• Encourage children to tell a trusted adult if something online makes them feel uncomfortable
We have attached some helpful parent guides for anyone who would like more information. Working together helps us keep children safe both in and out of school.

We are so proud of our Year 6 pupils this week.
They have shown incredible resilience, determination and maturity throughout their SATs. The children approached each day with calmness, positivity and perseverance, supporting one another and giving their very best effort.
We know how much hard work has gone into preparing for these tests and we could not be prouder of the attitude they have shown all week. Well done, Year 6!
Tomorrow, the children will be celebrating with some well-earned Domino’s pizza before enjoying a relaxing weekend. 🍕
