The children have enjoyed exploring outside this morning. They have been using good listening skills and following instructions. They have enjoyed making marks with play dough and Dinosaurs. They have also showed good balancing skills.

Happy world book day!!! The children have enjoyed dressing up📚📚📚. We have had an amazing morning listening to different stories building our communication skills and listening skills. 😃

The children have enjoyed turn taking and sharing whilst making collages with their peers. They have shown lots of patience whilst taking turns in using the glue.

We have been using good hand and eye coordination skills today.

We have been practising our fine motor skills today and using mathematical language we have been using pincer and tripod grips using tweezers. We have been so clever counting and recognising numbers.

The children have enjoyed exploring the snow out doors and making marks like circles and lines. They have been using good communication skills using words like “it’s icy”, “cold”, “soft snow” and “slippy”.

At Horwich Day Nursery we have had a funfilled morning. The children have been learning about children in need.
Engaging in fundraising and Charity work helps children and families understand the needs of others, fostering empathy and compassion beyond their immediate circumstances.
The children have been using good hand and eye coordination skills, they have used there fine motor skills and gross motor skills whilst exploring with different activities. The children have been using various language, counting and recognising colours.

Preschool have been looking at the book “Dear Zoo”. Preschool children have been making lots of animals sounds whilst exploring in the sensory tuff Tray. We have been enhancing our communication skills.

Toddlers have enjoyed exploring sensory tuff tray with sand and poms poms. They have enjoyed looking at colours and matching them to the correct colour bowl. They have used fine motor skills and good hand eye coordination skills.
I
