Our preschool children have shown a lot of interest in bugs 🐞 🐛 🐜. We set up a tuff tray together with natural props and named the bugs that we see. One of the children picked up a dragon fly picture and said “I have this my house” the children have been extending there vocabulary whilst taking turns. Recognising bugs and naming them.

The children have enjoyed exploring the snow out doors and making marks like circles and lines. They have been using good communication skills using words like “it’s icy”, “cold”, “soft snow” and “slippy”.
