Children’s earliest experiences have a profound influence on their learning and development and later achievement. At Grosvenor we aim to ensure that all children are given the opportunity to develop, achieve and progress in a safe, secure environment. Our Day Care Centre provides high quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years with an opportunity for continuity of transition into our Nursery School throughout your child’s early years. With a high ratio of well qualified staff we can provide care for 51 weeks of the year we can offer children a warm secure and stimulating environment where they are loved, cared for and educated to the highest standard.
The Day Care is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm, 5 days per week. Prices and information regarding availability of places and sessions can be obtained from the Day Care.
The Nursery School is a well-established, 65-place Local Authority Nursery School this means:
We can accommodate 65 children, aged 3 – 4 at each morning or afternoon session.
We admit children from our waiting list usually in the September and October following their 3rd birthday. Most children spend a year with us before moving on to Primary School. You will need to complete an admissions form which you can get from the school and your child will then be placed on the waiting list. The Nursery School accommodates 12 places offering 5 morning sessions per week for children aged 2 years of age who are in receipt of Government funding and 12 places offering 5 afternoon sessions per week. You will need to call into the Nursery School and provide us with some details to be placed on the waiting list.
