We’re so excited to have some new little chicks joining our Nest this year 🐥🍂
Alongside lots of familiar little faces returning, we’re ready for another busy year of learning, therapy, play and plenty of fun at The Nest.
The Nest is a little different from most nurseries. We are a specialist setting for children with complex and additional needs, where education, therapy and care come together as part of everyday nursery life.
Our children learn and develop in their own way and at their own pace. Some of our biggest achievements might look like very small moments to somebody else — a first request, trying something new, joining a group, taking another step towards independence, making a connection or simply feeling safe enough to explore.
And we celebrate every single one. 🤎
Our curriculum focuses on Communication & Connection, Life Skills & Independence and Expression & Invention, with each child’s individual interests, strengths and next steps at the centre.
Speech and language therapy is woven throughout our nursery day, alongside sensory experiences, outdoor learning, community opportunities and lots and lots of play.
But The Nest is about more than what happens inside our nursery rooms. Our families are a huge part of our community too, and we want The Nest to be somewhere children and their families feel safe, understood, valued and supported.
We can’t wait to see what 2026–2027 brings for all of our little chicks 🐥🍂
