We have some VERY happy children whose tickets were pulled out during this morning’s draw! 🤩

Year 3 have designed and made some fantastic 3D Ancient Egyptian sarcophaguses as part of their DT and History learning this half term! 😍

The children were hands-on from the very start with this project as they used card, 3D net shapes, bright colours and decorative jewels fit for a Pharaoh! After researching sarcophagus designs, the children showed they had a keen eye for colour and detail, and even used hieroglyphic symbols on their final designs!

Year 5 Opera Superstars! 🌟

Our Y2 children had a wonderful trip to Smithills Farm on Tuesday! 🐷🐮🐥

The children cuddled rabbits, fed sheep, went on a tractor ride, rode donkeys, met and snuggled lots of tiny animals and even watched the cows being milked! The whole experience was amazing and the children learned a wealth of new information to take back to school!

As always, our children behaved impeccably and were a credit to our school. Thank you to all the staff who helped organise and participated in the trip. Without you, our children wouldn't have the wonderful opportunities they do! 🩷

Science club has been so much fun this term with an amazing group of children who are well on their way to becoming STEM experts! 👩🏾‍🔬

Under the watchful eyes of Mrs Walmsley and Mrs Harrison, the children have explored physics, chemistry and biology together, making string phones, catapults and balloon rockets, and learning how to keep their bodies healthy with exciting exercise routines! 😃
