Here's a 5-step guide to help write a strong essay.

Brainstorm🧠: Start by gathering all your ideas. Jot down anything that comes to mind—no idea is too small.

Topic Sentence🎩: Every essay needs a strong foundation. Your topic sentence sets the tone for your essay. Make sure it's clear and directly answers the essay question!

Outline Ideas💡: Before writing, map out your main points. This will help keep your writing focused and organised. Think of it as your essay’s roadmap!

Time to Write✏️: Now that your ideas and outline are ready, it's time to start writing! Don't worry about perfection at this stage. Just get your ideas down on paper.

Conclusion & Proofread🔍: Wrap it up with a strong conclusion that summarises your key points. Then, proofread to catch any errors and tidy up your work! ✨

These methods can help reinforce your child's knowledge and make studying more engaging so they can reach their full potential. Here are some hints and tips:

Make Flashcards:
❓Write questions on one side and answers on the other.
🏫Use them to test your child regularly.
📰Flashcards are great for memorising vocabulary, dates and key concepts.

Study Creatively:
📝Use mind maps and diagrams to visualise information.
🖋️Turn information into stories or use mnemonics devices to help recall larger pieces of information.
💥Use colours and images to make your child's notes more engaging and memorable.

Teach Someone What You’ve Learned:
👨‍👩‍👦Encourage your child to teach you what they've recently learned. Ask questions like “What did you learn today in school?”
