Very excited to announce that as of today, Bolton Central Library will be the new home of our face to face provision going forward. The new renovations are beautiful and it makes sense as an educational establishment to support our local library!

We are putting on some exciting and engaging sessions in mid December and into the New Year, aimed at both students and parents. They will be advertised here first, so make sure your following our page for updates!

Please also share with your family and friends, it would mean a lot. If you have any questions or advice around GCSE’s and A Levels please do get it touch, always happy to help!

Exciting times ahead!

So if you know me, you know how much I love a good challenge…

I haven’t done any fundraising this year, as I’ve felt it’s been a big year of growth for me personally, but I would like to give something back. Also I’ve seen far too many people lately who have been affected by cancer, myself included and would love to play a part in fundraising to eradicate it!

I’ve signed up to swim 10km for Cancer Research in November, but with a TWIST…. I’m going to swim it in one go. That’s 10km in one swim (400 lengths) (there will obviously be little stops for hydration and fuel). Madness I know…

Hello everyone,

Just a quick notice to say that communications will be slow from tomorrow until Monday as I am heading to Wales to race Ironman Wales.

A full distance triathlon (swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles, Run 26.2 miles) to be completed in under 17 Hours.

As someone who avoided exercise for the vast majority of my life, it’s an opportunity for me to practice what I preach in the classroom, with the right mindset, commitment and determination, anything is possible.

After an absolute rollercoaster over the past five years I really have been taken aback that someone has taken the time to nominate me for this award. I literally had tears in my eyes opening the email. Thankyou so much!

As the mock exam results come flying in, this particular student deserves a special mention, previously failing maths, three sessions and we managed to fix the fundemental errors that were hampering her progress in the subject.

She’s now well on track to exceed her target grades in her final exams! She may even move from foundation to higher.

Bold statement, but very true, week on week we see the confidence of our students growing particularly in maths, the reality is that the catch all attitude of our current curriculum delivery doesn’t meet the needs of the students, so eventually they end up hating the subject and subsequently failing.

Exciting news in that from September we will have the ability to enter students for retake GCSE and A Level examinations if they are required. Meaning we can offer the full package from start to completion.

Hello everyone! As GCSE’s are fast approaching and my new students will soon be progressing onto their A-Levels I now have availability for tuition both over the summer and into the coming year.

I like to think my tuition is different as I use a variety of teaching methods to help cement a students understanding of the curriculum, methods which simply would not work in a traditional classroom setting.
