All set for a weekend at Snetterton BTCC supporting our students doing work experience in the paddock and sports rehabilitation from our mobile unit. Our LMP sim is set and ready to find the fastest person in the paddock this weekend

Today was the last factory tour in our current series this semester, so it was Hitech GP Tuesday! Our thanks go the the whole team that made our students incredibly welcome and gave them an insight into the single seater scene with a big overview on F4 from Dom Stott the Team Manager, Matt Greasley the Chief Engineer and Dan Kell the Race Engineer and NCME Aliumini, plus an insight into performance development from George Harvey. Their new facility at Silverstone was a true inspiration for our students to see 1st hand a pathway from F4 , F3 to F2 and onwards. We got to see behind the scenes of the whole factory, the R&D and testing areas and the static and full motion simulators, which was enjoyed by the NCME racing team members.

Factory tour Friday took us to the RML Group in Wellingborough, for a full insight of their Engineering capabilities and diverse projects , thanks to Design Engineer Charles Bouma for hosting and sharing his experience and knowledge, it’s much appreciated by all the students attending.

Factory Tour Friday this week took us to Ginetta in Garforth, Leeds. Special thanks to Ed Anderson a University of Bolton Alumni who started in the design office last August. The 20 students had the benefit of a comprehensive factory tour of all production areas and a go on the sim track Ginetta simulator. It’s wonderful to see all the manufacturing they do in house, in an industrial unit in Leeds!
