How do you show love? Love is in the quiet moments...
Love doesn't have to be loud. Instagram worthy displays of affection that are dramatic. Love is in the quiet moments that you don't post.
Love is "I got you"
Love is "it's going to be okay"
Love is "I'm here for you"
What's the best way someone has shown you love or you show love?

How will you be spending your Valentine's Day? either way, I highly recommend treating yourself just as a self reminder as to the level of love you deserve.
If you can love yourself better than they love you: why do you need them? Do you not deserve better?
Go get better hunni x

It's that day again soon.
A day where if you're single you feel pretty pants about life.
But there's no need, we have platonic love, right?
I beg you. Don't go on a date just so you don't feel lonely.
And definitely don't - DM your ex.
Instead - write a letter to your ex & put the past behind you because holding onto the past is for peasants and we're not a peasant are we?

What's something you wish you had known?
It's so easy to look back & say I wish I'd never....
But until you know better you don't know better. You can't wish that you'd known better ๐ฉท
Give yourself a break and go easy on yourself. We have all been there โค๏ธ

these are the worst of them...
all personal to me (unfortunately) but not my current partner. I am so so blessed to be unbelievably happy now but women out there still experience this BS every damn day ๐

hoping on this trend. Any that you would add? ๐ค
and yes these have all happened to me
and no they're not relevant to my current partner ๐

because if we can't laugh about our reality, then we might as well cry ๐ข
FYI none of these apply to my actual current boyfriend I am VERY happy, thank you ๐งก

in case no one told you today, im proud of you x
self-validation is pretty damn hard. especially when we're often seeking validation online through likes, comments, compliments; we seek any indication that our lives are accepted and successful.
whether this be posting a new life event on social media, posting a selfie and receiving likes or when we are out & about spending long lengths of time taking the perfect "Instagrammable" photo
try not to spend too much time & energy in life searching for others validation. the validation you give yourself is the most powerful (when you learn the power behind it)
i am writing this to take my own advice as I aim to create more self-validation for myself ๐
Peace & Love this Thursday,
