A little bit about me and my setting 💗

I am a caring and bubbly person who brings warmth, energy, and a genuine love for working with young children into my setting each day. I pride myself on creating a welcoming, supportive environment where both children and their families feel valued and at ease. My cheerful and nurturing approach helps build strong, trusting relationships, and I am passionate about providing a positive, joyful space where children feel happy, safe, and inspired to grow and learn.

As a dedicated childminder, I am committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel confident, secure, and supported in their development. My setting fosters a home-from-home atmosphere, encouraging emotional well-being, curiosity, and confidence through age-appropriate activities, positive relationships, and consistent care. I work closely with families to ensure every child’s individual needs are met, promoting their growth in a loving and respectful space.

I have worked in nurseries for several years before becoming a childminder in 2022. During this time, I gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all aspects of childcare. I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of children and families, which has helped me develop a deep understanding of individual needs and effective ways to support each child’s growth and development. This background has equipped me with the skills and confidence to provide high-quality, nurturing care in my own childminding setting. In my most recent OFSTED inspection in 2024, I was awarded a rating of Good, reflecting the quality of care and provision I consistently maintain.

I have successfully completed an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in the Children and Young People’s Workforce, specialising as an Early Years Educator. Additionally, I hold a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and have undertaken comprehensive safeguarding training. To further enhance my expertise and ensure the highest standard of care, I have also completed a variety of additional professional development courses, enabling me to remain well-informed and confident in my practice.

I am available five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Early drop-off is also offered from 7:30 am for a small additional fee. I am committed to accommodating the needs of parents and strive to provide flexible and supportive childcare arrangements wherever possible.
