Nursery Fancy Dress Day - TOMORROW!

Our Nursery will be holding a Fancy Dress Day tomorrow to raise money for Crackerjacks Children's Trust.

Crackerjacks provides specialist equipment, respite breaks and support for disabled children and their families, helping to make a real difference to their lives.

We are asking for voluntary donations, and a collection bucket will be available on the day for anyone who would like to contribute.

Tomorrow for mental health day we will be wearing green 💚 please bring the children in their best green outfits then we can visit the college foyer and join in the fun 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

From sensory exploration and seasonal learning, to storytelling, creativity and outdoor discovery - it has been a busy and exciting year so far in our Nursery. 💛

Throughout Terms 1 and 2, children across our Baby Room, Toddler Room and Pre-School have explored a huge range of activities designed to support communication, confidence, creativity and early development. From autumn treasure hunts and Christmas sensory play, to themed learning inspired by stories such as Owl Babies, Stick Man and The Colour Monster, every experience has encouraged curiosity, imagination and learning through play.

Now in Term 3, our learning continues with spring-themed activities, planting, nature exploration, storytelling and hands-on sensory experiences. Children are exploring books including Jack and the Beanstalk, taking part in outdoor learning, creative play and activities that support early maths, language, physical development and emotional wellbeing. 🌱📚✨

A huge well done to everyone who took part in our Easter Competition and submitted such fantastic entries! 🐰

We were so impressed by the creativity, colour and effort shown by all of our children.

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make our Easter celebrations extra special. We loved seeing all of your wonderful creations!

This morning, our children enjoyed a visit to the College's Immersive Suite, taking part in interactive games linked to our theme of journeys.

The session finished with a calming meditation experience in the Magic Forest, giving everyone the chance to relax and reflect.

A brilliant way to learn, engage and experience something different.

There’s still time to take part in our Easter Competition - we’ll be announcing the winners this Wednesday, 1st April.

We’re inviting children and their families to get creative and bring in an Easter-themed creation - this could be a bonnet, a decorated egg, or a bright, spring-inspired picture.

🔴 This Friday is Red Nose Day, and we’re inviting all children to wear something red to join in the fun! 🔴

Children are welcome to come dressed in their favourite red clothes or accessories as we mark the day together ❤️

We’re looking forward to seeing all the bright and creative ways red appears in their outfits 😊🎈
