Not a school workshop today but teaching my children to repurpose their old PE t-shirts rather than throwing them in the bin (t-shirts, not kids 🤣)!
Fabric markers and a slice of cardboard inside the old t-shirt makes for a half hour activity.

Wish I'd had this little nugget as inspiration for my session on Friday ❤️ so incredibly cute but also totally accurate ❤️

We LOVED hosting our "What is Love?" card session at Smithills School this morning! More photos to follow!

We've been quiet for a while but we're back! And we've got a new activity to offer!
❤️ LOVE CARDS ❤️
This activity is approximately 1-2 hours (ability dependent) and really focuses on fine motor skills whilst participating in a group discussion on "Where is love?"
There is room for extensive differentiation of this activity to cater for EYFS through to KS4.
All of the fabrics used in this activity are donated via Saving Threads CIC and would otherwise end up in landfill
Send us a DM for more information ❤️

Today, we've been busy creating our next Trash to Treasure product, taking photos as we go for the step-by-step resource cards, and clear photos of 'one I made earlier' to help our students to visualise the end goal.
Can you tell what it might be?
Hints:
🔎 It uses waste red and black fabric.
🔎 It has clear links to Numeracy, Literacy, Art and History.
🔎 The end product is a symbol used by the Royal British Legion
These sessions are aimed at EYFS, KS1, KS2, and KS3 (differentiated accordingly) and run for a minimum of 3 hours with a large focus on wellbeing and sustainability.
Please message for more information.
