Following on from our announcement earlier in the year that we will be offering our GET TO KNOW YOUR AIRCOOLED VW course for FREE, yes thats right FREE, (all we ask is a £7.95 admin fee) we have decided to extend this into at least the first half of 2026 and have now released 2 new dates.

Following the success of these courses earlier in the year we planned 2 more dates in September & October and now both of these courses are fully booked, in order to cope with the demand and a few requests for courses on a Sunday we are now looking at offering an extra date on either Sunday 21st September OR Sunday 19th October, we can only do one of these dates but if you are interested in attending let us know which is the preferred date and we will get the date in the diary and make the booking link available.

We will be running some FREE Lowering Workshops (Bay Window) and hosting a couple of Mechanical Q&A Sessions at the Pre 79 Aircooled show being held on Sunday 13th July at Carney Pools, Staffordshire. ST18 0XE.

We have a couple of spaces available on our ‘Maintaining Your Aircooled VW’ course being held at our premises in Bolton�
This is very much a hands on course where we delve a bit deeper into looking after your Aircooled VW, ��Content covers:�
Electrical Fault Finding and the right tools to use
Engine timing and how to set it up correctly including the use of strobe timing lights�Single Carb set up and tuning, look at twin carb set ups.
Steering Systems, what to check and look out for
Braking Systems, how to adjust, servos, bleeding the brakes�
Online resources - the good and the bad.��

Course is limited to 4 people to ensure everyone gets to learn.��

We’ve now added an Aircooled Show & Shine for the Sunday of the Aircooled Campout 2025 so if you are unable to attend for the whole weekend come along on the Sunday, we are making a small charge of £3 for entry with all proceeds going to the Lancashire Mining Museum, no need too book for this just turn up from 9am on the Sunday.�
The museum itself opens from 1-4pm on the Saturday and Sunday with train rides for the kids (and big kids) and the steam engine will be running at 2pm on the Sunday afternoon.��We will have children games available on the Rally field and are planning a Spotify DJ set for both nights where you the audience pick the tunes we play. Dog friendly as well.��
