Year 3 have been creating puppet shows based on the story of ‘Gigantic’. Once the children finished performing, they turned their puppets and script into artwork.

Last week we saw Mrs Osborne (lead teacher of our SEND provisions) teach us the sign for ‘school’ so in contrast, this week we have Miss Kemp (our Reception lead) teaching us the sign for ‘home’.

Wow! We are so impressed with the summer home learning that has come in so far. This is just a small selection of the sorts of things you have been working on with your families!
Next Friday the children will get the chance to exhibit their work in the hall for other classes to go and see. Then we will begin to display them around the school. It’s not too late to get involved… you have until next Friday (11th) to bring in your projects.

We hope you are all enjoying the summer break and have had a wonderful time with your family. There’s still a few days to work on your projects! Don’t forget - work together with the whole family to produce art, writing, posters, models or anything else you can think of based on your new class name.

Over the last week, Year 1 have been making clay shells with their parents. They have used pinching, rolling and tools to form them and they have turned out brilliantly!
