Join us at the Makerspace for a relaxed evening of creativity, where you’ll get to make your own decorative tiles using alcohol ink + take them home with you.

Creative activities are a great opportunity to switch off, try something new and spend time making alongside others. Our welcoming space is open to everyone and no previous experience is needed.

Ben Cavanagh is a Sussex-based artist specialising in big, colourful designs and characters drawn from imagination. He's worked for clients such as Aardman, Luminox, and Artswork.

We're excited to announce the first of our Art Show judges: Louise Duggan Artist! 🫟🎨

West Sussex-based multidisciplinary artist Louise Duggan will be joining the judging panel for this year’s Bognor Makerspace Art Show.

We've got an exciting Alcohol Ink Tile Workshop coming soon to the Makerspace on Monday 21st September! 🫟🔲

What's alcohol ink, you ask? It's a vibrant, fast-drying way of painting fun abstract shapes and patterns - when it hits a tile, it flows and bends, creating marble-like ripples. Pretty cool, right? 👍

Come and make your own in a mindful, reflective session exploring alcohol ink painting on ceramic tile. We’ll focus on presence, breath, colour, and the beauty of impermanence. Plus, take your own tiles home!
