We are learning about the weather this week. So far there’s been snow and ice play in the garden and weather charts at the art table. ❄️🌈💨☔️☃️
Please remember to put suncream and sun hats on your children. ☀️👒🧢

Arrangements for the end of term. Letters coming home this week ✉️

We hope to see lots of our families tomorrow (Monday 15th June, 9-10am) for a Stay and Play session in the playroom.

It's a great opportunity to play alongside your child and their playgroup friends, catch up with your Keyworker and meet other families.
Even if it's not your usual session you are welcome to come along and join in the fun 😀

And to round off travel and transport week what could be more fun than a bubbly car wash 🛁 🚗 and a train track on a paper landscape the children created themselves when they painted with cars 🚂 🚙

The Travel and Transport week fun continues indoors and outdoors with: water painting, messy play with ooblek, cars and ramps, spotter sheets, name trains, spray stencils, chalking, mark-making and jigsaws.

You can visit the Travel Agents,
draw on hot air balloons,
count cars,
and even arrange your snack in traffic light colour order 🔴🟠🟢

Space week at Blackbirds Playgroup has been Out Of This World 🚀🌕⭐️🌌

Have a look at our Bottle Rockets 🚀 and Painted Planets 🪐 - the children did an amazing job 👍

And everyone had fun organising stars 🌟 and building towers to the moon🌙
