YMCA Awards L4 Sports Massage (Soft Tissue Dysfunction) Course in Felpham.

A Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist is not qualified to treat soft tissue dysfunction, injuries, joint issues etc. To be able to work with clients suffering from musculoskeletal issues the Level 3 therapist must upskill to Level 4

Dry Needling for Sport & Injury - CPD certificate (foundation course)

This course is open to all Sports Massage Therapists Level 4 or above and these applicants must have been practising Sports Massage for a period of time. The course is also open to qualified Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists as Continued Professional Development.

This is an FHT accredited qualification and both course days will involve a hands-on approach practising the application of dry-needling.

Cost: £245 with a £99 deposit due in order to secure your place. Please note final payment will be due on or before the start of the course.

This one-day course is designed for people who need to receive a certification in emergency first aid in the workplace.

This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of Workplace health and safety regulations; including but not subject to Adult Resuscitation(CPR), choking, casualty care, minor/severe bleeding, seizures and burns/scalds.

These courses are fully endorsed by the General Council of Massage Therapy (GCMT) and developed in association with The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA), these qualifications align with the latest National Occupational Standards (NOS)

Upon achievement:
• Set-Up own sports massage therapy clinic, treating clients with minor injuries / soft-tissue dysfunction.

In London today to discuss the launch of the new YMCA Awards Sports Massage qualifications launching February 2023.

The new qualifications have been developed closely with GCMT, SMA and NOS to define the scope of practice between the L3 & L4 and will greatly impact the recognition for L4 Sports Massage Therapists in Complimentary Healthcare 🤩🤩
