🐣 Easter Fayre – We Really Need Your Help! 🐣

We’re busy getting everything ready for our Easter Fayre, but we’re in need of a little extra support to make it a success 💛

At the moment, we’ve had very few (if any) offers of donations, we are also really struggling for volunteers to help run stalls on the day. Even giving just a small amount of your time would make a huge difference and help ensure the event can go ahead smoothly.

We would be so grateful for:
🎁 Raffle prizes
🧸 Tombola items
🍫 Easter treats
🛍️ New or nearly new items
🙋‍♀️ Volunteers to help set up or run stalls (even for a short time!)

Sadly without enough donations and helping hands, there is a real possibility that the Fayre may not be able to go ahead this year.

If you can help in any way, please get in touch or drop donations to the school office/nursery by Tuesdays 31st March.

Enter as many as you like — the more the merrier!

We have lots of egg-citing creative competitions for children of all ages to enjoy. Whether you love baking, crafting, or designing, there’s something fun for everyone!

🐥 Age Categories

🥚 Create an Egg-citing Shoebox Scene

Design a wonderful zoo-themed scene inside a shoebox.
Include at least two eggs (real or plastic) as part of your creation.

🍪 Easter Biscuit Decorating

Decorate 4 biscuits with a fantastic Easter theme — be as colourful and creative as you like!
Place them on a paper plate.

Decorate a jar and fill it with a beautiful floral arrangement.
🌼 Real or artificial flowers can be used.

💞The PTFA kindly provided a wonderful craft afternoon for the children, creating a calm and welcoming space that encouraged mindfulness and meaningful conversations. Through creative activities, the children talked about love and kindness, how we support one another, and the importance of caring for our friends. The afternoon was filled with smiles and thoughtful moments, and the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part, especially the cake decorating, which was a huge hit! A big thank you to the PTFA for supporting such a positive and nurturing experience. 💕

🌈 Love & Kindness Craft Afternoon 💕

Thursday 12th February

A special PTFA activity for all children

During the afternoon, the children will be taking part in a craft session provided by the PTFA.
The activities are centred around love, kindness and caring for others, encouraging children to express themselves creatively while celebrating friendship and compassion.

It is a lovely way to end the half term by celebrating with friends, enjoying a calm, positive activity together 💞

Welcome to our new page - Blisland PTFA – Parents, Teachers & Friends

Blisland PTFA is a friendly, volunteer-led group supporting both Blisland Primary Academy and Storytellers Nursery.

We are made up of parents, carers, staff, family members and local supporters who all share one goal, to raise funds that directly benefit the children. From new resources and learning experiences to equipment and special projects, everything we raise goes straight back into the school and nursery.

Our PTFA is open to everyone. You don’t have to be a parent or work at the school, if you would like to support local children and be part of a welcoming community, you are very welcome to suggest.

We organise fun events throughout the year including seasonal celebrations, raffles, coffee mornings, school discos, fairs and community activities. Alongside fundraising, the PTFA helps build strong links between the school, nursery and the wider village.
