North Cornwall Guitar Lessons Tim Parr I have been a professional guitarist for over 25 yrs and am offering lesson in guitar, bass and ukulele from beginner upwards. Accredited exams can taken.

The guitar is a multi layered versatile instrument.it will prove to be a lifelong companion a friend through thick and thin and you will never be able to claim to be bored again- there will always be something to study and practice, whatever your ability. The basics are quite easy to grasp. Strumming some open chords can open up a world of songs and creativity - but there is soon much more ; Fing

erpicking, playing melody lines, blistering rock and blues solos, accompanying other musicians, playing in a band, rocking power chords, country vamping, jazz chord voicings, improvising jazz solos, disco/ funk rhythms... The list is literally endless. I aim to provide the skills for my students to be competent in any role that a guitarist may be called upon. Providing a life changing hobby, new social opportunities, confidence and an ability to create with other musicians. Who knows even a future source of income. Lessons are £20 for the hour or £10 for 30mins if held at my home in St Teath although I am happy teach in your own home with an additional charge to cover travel expenses. It is not essential to have a weekly lesson although I would certainly recommend it at the start to prevent any bad habits creeping in
From compete beginner to causal player students will receive a grounding in a variety of styles and will learn some essential music theory to help understand how music is put together . Students can specialise in the areas that they are most passionate about and can even go on the take recognised qualifications.
