🌟A huge well done to all of the Year 6 children at Blisland Primary Academy for completing their SATs this week! 🌟

The children showed fantastic determination, resilience and positivity throughout the week and should all feel incredibly proud of themselves. To celebrate all of their hard work and effort, they enjoyed a well-earned relaxed morning along the Camel Trail, followed by a lovely picnic lunch together in the sunshine.

It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, unwinding and enjoying time together after such a busy week. Well done Year 6 , you have all been amazing! 🩷

Kensa Class have had a fantastic day at the Eden Project learning about Brazil, the Amazon Rainforest and the people that live there.

We learned that humans depend on plants and that many of the products we use in our day-to-day lives actually start life in the rainforest.

We were thrilled to see the incredible flowers and creatures hidden in the biomes and took part in a shelter building contest!

Thank you to Eden for the fabulous workshop and the all the helpers that facilitated the trip!

What a fantastic day we had at our Easter Fayre! 🌼🐣

The children created some truly amazing competition entries , the effort, creativity and care that went into them was incredible, and it certainly made judging very difficult for Rev Robin!

Throughout the day, the children also enjoyed learning about the Easter story, bringing meaning and understanding to the celebrations. The morning finished with a very exciting Easter egg hunt, where the children worked brilliantly together to solve clues and discover a hidden stash of eggs, very kindly donated by Kepak. A huge thank you for your generosity!

In the afternoon, the Easter Fayre was in full swing with a wonderful variety of stalls and games, all designed and run by the children themselves. A definite highlight had to be the dinosaur race, with bets placed on who would be the fastest… not a sight you’d expect to see charging through Waterloo! 🦖🏁

There were lots of happy prize winners as the raffle and games results were announced, adding to the excitement of the day.

It was a truly special community event, full of fun, teamwork and smiles, and it also helped raise valuable funds for the PTFA to support enrichment opportunities throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who supported, donated and joined us – we couldn’t have done it without you! 💛

🐰The children had a wonderful time taking part in our Easter egg hunt, filled with excitement, laughter, and lots of happy smiles. They loved searching high and low, working together, and celebrating each little discovery along the way. It was lovely to see such enthusiasm and teamwork as they shared their finds and enjoyed the fun together.

A huge thank you to Kepak Bodmin for their very kind donation of all the Easter eggs , your generosity helped make the day extra special for the children 🐣

🐣 Easter Fayre – We Really Need Your Help! 🐣

We’re busy getting everything ready for our Easter Fayre, but we’re in need of a little extra support to make it a success 💛

At the moment, we’ve had very few (if any) offers of donations, we are also really struggling for volunteers to help run stalls on the day. Even giving just a small amount of your time would make a huge difference and help ensure the event can go ahead smoothly.

We would be so grateful for:
🎁 Raffle prizes
🧸 Tombola items
🍫 Easter treats
🛍️ New or nearly new items
🙋‍♀️ Volunteers to help set up or run stalls (even for a short time!)

Sadly without enough donations and helping hands, there is a real possibility that the Fayre may not be able to go ahead this year.

If you can help in any way, please get in touch or drop donations to the school office/nursery by Tuesdays 31st March.

Thank you so much for your continued support – we truly couldn’t do it without you ☀️
