Situated in the heart of Lanlivery village our school provides a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere to the thriving local community. We aim to provide a happy, safe environment where children feel secure to explore, experiment and develop curiosity and confidence so that learning comes naturally. Our schools strengths lie in our pastoral care, our Scandinavian approach to primary education an
d our superb forest school. Music is also a strength at our small school with our superb music teachers teaching both in school hours and as an extra-curricular option. Children can join our community from age two in Little Foresters and stay with until they transfer to secondary school aged 11. Our dedicated teachers span multiple year groups thus providing continuity and consistency for our pupils while still maintaining small class sizes. We are lucky and proud to boast of our excellent school environment with two modern new buildings complementing our rustic 1877 historic school house. Our very own Forest school is a small child’s wonderland and far from a tokenistic nod to outdoor learning Lanlivery Primary Academy truly lives and breathes in our forest. Our annual camp-outs are a highlight of the year.
