Now we are open and starting to get settled in, we feel it's a great time to start sharing our wonderful artists and makers with you.

We'd first like to introduce you to Brian Hanscomb RE who lives in St. Breward, Cornwall and has his beautiful engravings and pastels on display with us. Brian is one of the last copperplate engravers in this country to have served a full apprecticeship. Inspired by early English Romantics and spirituality, his work also draws from the Cornish landscape, particularly Bodmin Moor around which he frequently rides his bicycle.

What a brilliant start to our Creative Studio & Gallery journey!

We welcomed an inspiring group of artists to our first meeting — each bringing fresh ideas, creative energy, and a shared commitment to collaboration and community. From exhibitions and workshops to shared space and mentoring, the conversations were full of possibility.

This is more than a studio — it’s the start of a creative movement in Bodmin. Grateful to everyone who joined us!

We will soon be signing the lease for our Gallery at 61 Fore Street . It is the first of Bodmin Revival's Vacant to Vibrant projects and we will be transforming this rather sad vacant unit into a bustling vibrant creative and community hub.

We will start the refurb work to get the Gallery open for business and then we will get the meeting room ready . The Gallery will feature creative work of all kinds and price points made by local Bodmin and Cornish- based artists , some established and some just starting out. Artwork will be sold with a 40% commission going to Bodmin Revival CIC to pay overheads and any profit will be used to further our ambitions to make Bodmin vibrant once more. It has taken a lot of hard work to get this far but we are on the brink of plans becoming reality and it is both exciting and terrifying.
