I've noticed we've had some new visitors to our St Wenn School page recently, so I wanted to share a quick update!
At St Wenn, we’re up to amazing things every week, and you can get a glimpse of it all in our weekly newsletters, which are posted on our website.

These newsletters showcase the wonderful learning opportunities our children enjoy.
As a community, we’ve chosen not to post lots of photos on social media, as many parents (myself included) prefer to keep children’s activities more personal. However, you’ll find plenty of stories and updates in our newsletters. Friends of St Wenn also maintains an active, private page for families where more information is shared.

St Wenn is a friendly rural village school, tucked away in a beautiful spot in Cornwall. We are a forward looking school with big ideas and here we like to think of learning as an adventure.

A note from Rainbows:
🌈Roche Rainbows have space for girls aged 4 to 7 to start for the summer term. We meet on a Tuesday night at Roche Victory Hall.
🌈Being a Rainbow is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, trying new things and having fun! Rainbows learn by doing - they get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, cooking and playing games.

This was great! Our children worked really well as a team. Thank you to Friends for paying for this experience for the children and to DreadLock Escape Rooms for some great challenges.

Friends of St Wenn would like to invite everyone to a Coffee Morning on Monday 4th October at 9am (after drop off!) in the church. This will be a great opportunity to get together and welcome any new parents / carers to St Wenn. All welcome! ☕️ 🍰

Turtles and Seahorses class had a visit from the local police today. They asked really intelligent questions and the police officers were very impressed.

🥇 Calum Jarvis, a Tokyo Olympic Gold medalist, visited us this morning. He talked to the children about how important it is to listen and work hard. He said ‘I was so impressed with all of the classes today, they were very well behaved and did an amazing job of listening and asked some super questions.’
The children enjoyed seeing all of his medals.
I wonder if we have a future Olympian at St Wenn?🏅
