We had a fantastic and productive time today at our training day!

Ensuring the highest standards of care, support, and professionalism is at the heart of everything we do. That is why it is incredibly important to us that all of our tutors and invigilators are trained in health & safety and safeguarding as an absolute minimum.

Alongside these essentials, we focused on key areas to best support our candidates, specifically covering functional skills delivery and managing access arrangements to ensure a nurturing, fair field for everyone during their assessments.

A huge thank you to Holly and Dave for leading the way, and to everyone who attended for their engagement, dedication, and shared commitment to creating a calm, secure, and supportive environment for our learners.

Our Open Morning for Tutors, Education Providers and Student Support Organisations is happening next week on Wednesday 16 September. If you work with young people and would like to find out more about our exam centre, there’s still time to reserve your place.

Results Day 2026 is officially wrapped up!

Whether you dropped by the centre in Bodmin to collect your grades or opened them via email at home, we are incredibly proud of what you have achieved today. As a space dedicated to home educated candidates, private students, and learners with SEND, we know the massive hurdles you’ve had to overcome. From navigating complex exam access arrangements and anxiety to studying completely independently outside a mainstream school, your journey to these GCSE and Functional Skills results has required real grit.

Here is what we are celebrating at the centre today:

Whatever your results, remember: there are always options and ways forward. Your grades don’t define your worth, your resilience, effort, and potential matter most.
