Playing in a band or large group is a fantastic way to meet lots of other musicians, play really fun music and get the opportunity to perform in concerts. It's also a skill which cannot be learned in your music lesson.
Your sight reading will improve, you will gain confidence and so many more benefits to joining a band.

We're so excited to get back to our weekly rehearsals! We hope everyone enjoyed the summer break and are ready to get their teeth sunk into some new rep! 🤩

Our Senior Orchestra will return to rehearsals on Wednesday 20th August, and our Juniors will return on Wednesday 27th August 🎺

Welcome to all my new followers👋🎶

It's almost the end of the summer holidays 😟 and, as usual, I'm getting ready for the new term. New stationery, notebooks, diary, new music books and and all the supplies I need for teaching and playing over the next term.

If you are a current school pupil, have you ordered your new music books? Do you have reeds, cleaning clothes etc. These can be bought online through Amazon, eBay or Musicroom.com.
As always, try to bring along a note book and pencil. Check Teams/Google Classroom for school timetables and lesson days.

Private pupils, message me to organise your lesson day/time.

If you are interested in starting private lessons then free 15 minute trial sessions are available.
Lessons can be here in my music room, at your home or even online via Zoom.

I have 37 years experience teaching all woodwind, theory and keyboard instruments, 30 of those with Aberdeenshire Council.

Lessons start from £15 per 30 minute lesson. I charge travel for home visits.
Discounts available for block bookings.
All ages and abilities catered for.
