🌟 Soft Play Wednesdays at Dinotots! 🌟

Wednesdays are always full of smiles, laughter, and adventure as children from all of our Dinotots nurseries come together for our much-loved Soft Play Wednesday sessions!

These mornings are a wonderful opportunity for the children to meet new friends from across the Dinotots family, build confidence, and develop their social skills as they play alongside one another in a fun, safe, and exciting environment.

From climbing and crawling to balancing, sliding, and exploring the different shapes, heights, and textures throughout the soft play, every activity helps to develop gross motor skills, coordination, problem-solving, and physical confidence. Most importantly, the children are learning through play while creating happy memories together.

There is nothing better than seeing so many smiling faces, hearing the sound of laughter, and watching friendships grow across our Dinotots family. We can’t wait for another fantastic Soft Play Wednesday next week! 💙💛🦕

🚍✨ Transport Week Adventures Continue! ✨🚍

What an incredible day our Dinotots Childcare children have had as we continued celebrating Transport Week with a fantastic visit to the Tiny Toon event in Newcastle!

The children had so much fun dressing up as train drivers, using their imaginations through role play in the miniature bakery, and enjoying a trip to the little cinema. These wonderful experiences help to build confidence, encourage communication, and develop social skills while learning through play.

The excitement didn’t stop there! We had lots of fun in the Stagecoach-sponsored soft play area, where the children were delighted to meet real Stagecoach bus drivers. They were even gifted their very own Stagecoach hi-vis vests to take back to nursery – a fantastic keepsake from a memorable day.

One of the highlights was meeting up with our friends from Dinotots Daycare. It was lovely to spend time together, enjoy a McDonald’s lunch, and continue our adventure by following the Peter Rabbit Trail, spotting the beautiful Peter Rabbit sculptures around Newcastle.

Days like these create unforgettable memories, encourage friendships across our nurseries, and bring learning to life through exciting real-world experiences. We can’t wait to see where our next Transport Week adventure takes us! 🚍🚂🍔🐰💙

🚌🚆✈️ Transport Week has been full of exciting adventures at Dinotots Childcare! ✈️🚆🚌

Learning comes to life when we step outside the nursery, and today our children had an incredible adventure exploring different types of transport and discovering how they help us every day.

Our journey began with a bus ride, where the children experienced travelling on public transport, learning about bus safety, taking turns, and observing the busy world around them. They chatted excitedly about where buses can take us and the important role they play in helping people travel.

Next, we visited the train station, where the children watched trains arrive and depart, learning about rail travel and how trains connect towns and cities across the country. The excitement continued when an aeroplane flew overhead! There were lots of pointing fingers and smiling faces as we talked about how planes can take us on holidays and adventures all around the world.

Our outing also included a visit to Asda, where the children enjoyed helping to scan the shopping at the self-service checkout. This gave them a wonderful opportunity to practise everyday life skills, recognise different foods and products, develop early maths and communication skills, and understand how technology is used in our daily lives.

Before heading back, we popped into Pets at Home, where the children loved meeting a variety of animals, from fluffy rabbits and playful guinea pigs to colourful fish and other small pets. This visit was the perfect introduction to Animal Week next week, sparking lots of conversations about the different pets people can have, how we care for them, and the importance of being kind and gentle with animals.

Days like today are about so much more than having fun. Every outing provides opportunities to develop confidence, independence, communication, curiosity and a greater understanding of the world around us. Seeing the children’s excitement as they make real-life connections with their learning is truly wonderful, and these experiences help create memories that will stay with them for years to come.

We can’t wait to see what adventures Animal Week has in store! 🐾

✨🎓 Dinotots Graduation 2026 🎓✨

What a truly wonderful evening celebrating our Dinotots Graduation across all of our nurseries. It was filled with so much pride, happiness, and just a few tears as we watched our incredible children reach such an important milestone.

Each and every child is unique, and it has been an absolute privilege to watch them grow, learn, and develop into the confident, kind, and curious little people they are today. For many of our graduates, their journey with Dinotots began as babies. We’ve been there for their very first smiles, first steps, first words, and so many unforgettable moments along the way. To now see them ready to begin the next exciting chapter of their lives is incredibly special.

Over the years, our children have become part of the Dinotots family, building beautiful friendships with one another and strong, loving bonds with our dedicated staff. Seeing those relationships flourish is what makes what we do so rewarding.

To all of our wonderful parents and carers, thank you. Your trust, encouragement, and continued support throughout the years mean more to us than words can say. It has been an honour to work alongside you and be part of your child’s early years journey.

To our amazing graduates, we are so proud of every single one of you. Keep smiling, keep believing in yourselves, and never stop being the wonderful little people you are. We know you will achieve amazing things as you move on to your next adventure.

🎉 Dinotots Graduation 2026!🎓

We are excited to invite you to our annual Dinotots Graduation celebration!

📍 Where: St. Benedict’s Parish Church, Brierley Road, Cowpen, Blyth, NE24 5AU

🎬 Ceremony Starts: 6:15pm

As we come to the end of this wonderful term, some of our little ones are preparing to leave the nest and embark on new adventures — starting school! It’s a time filled with mixed emotions: joy and excitement for our confident, happy children who are ready for the next chapter, and a touch of sadness as we say goodbye to our beloved little stars. 🌟💖

Many of these children have been with us since they were babies, growing alongside us and forging special bonds with staff and friends. Watching their growth has been truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers for your ongoing support — you are an essential part of our Dinotots family.

We wish all of our graduates the very best in their new journeys! We will miss them all so much. 💙🦕

💙 Father’s Day Stay & Play Event 💙

Join us for a very special Father’s Day celebration at Dinotots Nurseries!

We are delighted to invite all dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures to come along and enjoy a fun-filled Stay & Play session with their little ones. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together, make special memories and take part in a range of exciting activities designed for both children and their grown-ups.

Our Stay & Play session will be packed with fun, laughter and plenty of opportunities for children and their special guests to learn, play and explore together. We can’t wait to celebrate the amazing father figures who play such an important role in our children’s lives.

Another fantastic Soft Play Wednesday for all our children across the Dinotots Childcare nurseries! 🌟

The children had such a wonderful morning coming together for lots of fun, laughter and adventure at soft play. From climbing, sliding and exploring to building confidence and making friendships, every child enjoyed burning off their energy in a safe and exciting environment. 💙

Soft play sessions are a great way to support children’s physical development, balance, coordination and social skills, all whilst having the best time with their friends and nursery staff. It’s always lovely to see the children encouraging one another, sharing turns and smiling from ear to ear throughout the morning. 😊

After all the excitement, the children finished their fun-filled session with a lovely snack and drink before heading back to nursery happy, tired and full of stories to tell! 🍎🥤

🐢 A wonderful day of learning and discovery at Dinotots Childcare! 🐢

One of our lovely team members, Olivia, kindly brought in her baby turtles for the children to meet and explore. The excitement and engagement from the children was amazing to see as they gathered around with big smiles, curious minds and lots of questions.

This wonderful experience created a fantastic hands-on learning opportunity, allowing the children to observe the turtles closely and learn all about their habitats, what they eat, how they grow and how to care for them. Activities like this support children’s understanding of the world around them while encouraging curiosity, communication and confidence as they shared their thoughts and ideas.

The children loved watching the turtles move around and were fascinated by their tiny features and unique personalities. Real-life experiences like these create meaningful learning moments and help children build connections through fun, education and exploration.

A huge thank you to Olivia for bringing along such special little visitors and creating memories and learning opportunities for our children to enjoy! 💚🐢
