These girls are going places.
In March 2026, these young women took part in an International Women's Day Event at Blyth Library.
The relationships they built here, particularly with Rita Patel-Miller, led to work experience with QTS, Arcadis and Rainton on the data centre site in Cambois.
In September, they presented their experience to leaders across Blyth, and they were invited to do the same again to leaders across Europe.
This week they did just that, presenting to over 270 international delegates at the Royal Institute of Mechanical Engineering in London.
They impressed so much that QTS have invited them to present again, this time at their global summit in Orlando, Florida.
Across ESF and at Bede Academy we want every child to experience life in all it’s fullness, and experiences like this demonstrate what is possible.
All thanks to QTS and their commitment to listening to the community and influencing genuine sustainable opportunity.
