When I first decided to apply for the Northumberland Alternative Provision Framework, I remember looking through the AP catalogue at all of the established provisions across the county and thinking… maybe this was a little too ambitious for me. 😂

How could my little provision ever sit alongside all of those?!

But I knew I had to give it a go.

My first application was unsuccessful. I was absolutely gutted and definitely had a proper sulk about it! 😂

But once the sulking was over, I knew I had to try again.

So I did.

And the second time, we were approved. 🥹

My little Alternative Provision, approved by Northumberland Council, now used by numerous schools across the county and also commissioned by North Tyneside Council.

And then today, I was sent our very own page in the Northumberland AP brochure.

It honestly feels completely surreal.

Our page will sit alongside all of the other fantastic approved Alternative Provisions, and schools across Northumberland will be able to access the brochure when they're looking for the right support for a child.

The imposter syndrome is very, very real! 😂

Sometimes I still have to remind myself that this is actually happening and that we've earned our place there.

So here it is… our very own page in the Northumberland AP brochure. 🥹❤️

If your child didn't get the grade they needed in their GCSEs and will now face a resit in November, NOW is the time to sort the extra help.

The resits happen very quickly after the October half term. Students usually have a maximum of around 8 weeks before they resit their exam.

Our sessions open up again on Tuesday 1st September to really maximise the term times we have in the academic year 26/27.

Please contact [email protected] to book your space. Our sessions are just £17 per hour (+VAT).

We have already filled 180 spaces a week from September 1st... don't be too late to add your name in, too 🎊🙌

We’re opening up spaces on our Thursday sessions, giving students the opportunity to build confidence, strengthen their skills and get fully prepared for their upcoming mock GCSEs.

A focused session to support children in developing their confidence and mathematical skills.

Congratulations to all who have collected their GCSE results today 🥹❤️

We are 8 hours behind here and I woke up to so many messages telling me all the grades which have been achieved! Amazing.

Hi everyone 🥰

I am currently on holiday with my little family (can you guess where we are?!) I won't be answering emails/messages whilst I'm away - I need to spend this time with my husband & girls.

HAF Day 16: Disco Day!

Today was the last day of our Summer HAF Programme, so of course we had to go out with a bang!🎉

It only felt right to celebrate 4 weeks of laughter, learning, and lifelong memories in style, so we rented out Briardale Centre for a dazzling disco party!🥳🎊🪩🪅

The kids boogied all day long, and competed in classic party games like musical statues and corners!💃🕺

They also partook in karaoke (and definitely blew the staff out of the water with their renditions), with the audience earning prizes for their best and silliest dance moves!🎤🎶🎵

We cooled off in the park before saying our final goodbyes for the Summer🥲🥲

Thank you to all of our wonderful attendees who helped make this programme so special, their enthusiasm has been infectious and seeing their smiles this past month has been truly magical.💛

Our HAF programme has FINISHED! 🥰❤️

These 4 ladies put together a brilliant plan and executed it wonderfully 👏 they came in each day with the energy and commitment our young people deserve ❤️

I was able to do all of the food this year and I loved providing huge fruit platters and full buffets for our young people 🥭🥝🍏🍍

Emily, Emma, Sophie and Zoe: WELL DONE! Now go and enjoy 2 weeks of peace ✌️

To all families who attended our summer 2026 HAF programme- thank you! We have loved spending time with your children.
