Because nobody knows what’s round the corner, do they?

And I think especially when you’re running your own business, it’s so easy to talk yourself out of things because you’re scared it might not work.

Over the last 15 years as an educator, I've heard students say:
“What if I spend all this money and nobody books it?”
“What if I’m not good at it?”
“What if I’m making the wrong decision?”

I've even had those thoughts myself as a technician and salon owner. But then I thought
 what if it DOES work?

What if that course you’ve been umming and ahhing about ends up being the thing that brings a whole new type of client through your door?

What if a year from now you’re absolutely bloody flying and you look back and think, thank god I just went for it.

You genuinely don’t know what’s round the corner.

 so why is your bank account not? 👀

I've been there...You’re working your arse off. You’re fully booked. You’re constantly squeezing people in
but your income still isn't hitting where your vision board needs you to be.

The answer isn’t always more clients, because if your business model relies on you doing more appointments to make more money, eventually there’s nowhere else to go except
 working more hours.

And if you're like me, you didn’t get into this industry to spend your life behind a treatment bed.

If you genuinely want to stay in the beauty industry and build a bigger income, sometimes you need to change what you’re selling, not just sell more of it.

If you’re thinking about getting into aesthetics, can I give you a bit of advice?

Don’t just pick a course because it’s the cheapest, it’s local or because you get a certificate at the end.

The certificate is the easy bit... You need to think about how you’re going to feel when you’re actually sat in front of your first client.

Are you going to feel confident? Will you know what you’re looking for? Will you know what to do if something doesn’t quite go to plan? And will you actually have someone to ask when you’re stuck?

That’s a massive part of why I created the Blush pathway the way I did. I work with you, watch you actually do it, pick up on the little things, answer the questions you’re too scared to ask and make sure you understand the WHY behind what you’re doing.

This is my student doing her practical assessment here and I’m right there with her, making sure she’s ready before she’s doing this on her own.

Every beauty pro I speak to seems to have the same issues:

1. Not enough clients / Empty spaces in diary.
2. Not making enough money.
3. Wants to earn more without overworking and burnout.
4. Sick of working crazy hours and not seeing the money coming in that they want.

The answer to all of the above is to be able to offer high ticket treatments for little time out of the diary, and I know everyone talks about learning another treatment when they're faced with problems, but we need to think beyond the now and the next fad.

I think we should be talking about building or growing a business that still thrives years from now.

We all know that the practitioners who stay busy aren't always the most talented. They're the ones who invest in treatments with real demand, repeat clients and genuine return on investment.

I can say whole heartedly that laser isn't a trend. It's one of the fastest-growing sectors in aesthetics because it solves problems people are willing to pay to fix.

When my students train with me, I don't just want them to leave with a certificate. I want them to understand how to turn that qualification into income, confidence and a business they're proud of.

Because every course should answer one question...

"How is this going to change my future?"
