A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Field Road Summer Fayre this evening!

It was an absolute joy to see so many children and their families enjoying the games, food, drinks and, most importantly, spending quality time together as a community. The smiles, laughter and fantastic atmosphere made it a truly memorable evening.

A special thank you goes to our incredible staff, who gave up their time to organise, run and support the event. From serving food and running stalls to braving The Stocks, your enthusiasm helped make the evening such a success!

We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Just a gentle reminders that school will be closing at 1.30pm tomorrow (Friday 10th July) to allow for the parent consultation afternoon. Should you wish to speak to your child's teacher about their report, please secure an appointment time via the Arbor link. Any problems, please speak to our front office.

A reminder that today, at 2.30 pm, there is a parent consultation meeting in the hall regarding the new PSHE framework and the new relationships and s*x education section for parents of Years 3 to 5 children. The entrance will be through the Breakfast Club gate and through the hall doors.

What a fantastic way to round off our week of Sports Days!
Our Year 5 pupils brought boundless energy, determination and brilliant team spirit to every event. It was wonderful to see so much encouragement from the side lines, with classmates cheering and celebrating each other's successes. There may even have been the occasional "creative interpretation" of the rules along the way, but all in good humour!

With all four Sports Days now complete, the House points are being totalled, and we'll be revealing our overall House champions in tomorrow's assembly and in this week's newsletter.

From the first race to the final event, our Year 4 Sports Day was filled with enthusiasm, determination and plenty of smiles today! A huge well done to all of our pupils, who embraced every challenge with confidence and cheered each other on every step of the way. Every child demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and resilience, making it a wonderful celebration of teamwork, effort and achievement. We couldn't be prouder!

"Faster, Higher, Stronger, Together" perfectly summed up our Year 3 Sports Day 2026! Well done to all our pupils who took part and gave their very best. Whether they were sprinting, jumping or throwing, every child showed determination, resilience and teamwork, making us incredibly proud. Year 6 pupils have continued their project of successfully preparing, cooking and serving a meal to a member of their family over the last week using our Teaching Kitchen.

This has involved not only learning how to prepare and cook a nutritious meal, but also exploring meal budgets and designing a menu that balances both nutrition and affordability.

They have all done tremendously well, with one group not even letting a fire alarm interrupt their efforts.

A fantastic achievement by everyone involved!
