On Friday Reception visited Lower Drayton Farm👏

They were met by Stephen from Country Trust who took them on a tour of the farm and talked to them about the farm's animals!

They saw newborn lambs and their mums, cows, donkeys, goats, alpacas, Shetland ponies, a peacock and an ostrich as well as rabbits, Guinea pigs and tortoises🐷

They had a wonderful time and enjoyed playing in the soft play at the end of the day as well.

On Monday 9th March, our school council attended Walsall’s annual Commonwealth of Nations flag‑raising ceremony outside the Council House, recognising the shared values that unite 56 member countries👏

Representatives from the armed forces community, the Deputy Lieutenant and local schools joined the Mayor for the official flag‑raising.

Our very own Lacey helped to raise the flag!

We were really proud of all of our School Council pupils who were a credit to Abbey Primary School🙌

On Thursday we celebrated 'World Book Day' and spent the day enjoying books and reading📚

We saw some amazing costumes and colourful pyjamas. The children completed a wide variety of activities during the day including designing book covers, creating their own book characters, reading in unusual places, using their imaginations to create their own books, illustrations, and models👏

What a wonderful day!
