Free School Meals are changing from September 2026.
As a parent or carer, you may need to re-apply for the 2026/27 school year — even if your child already receives Free School Meals.

It only takes a few minutes to check, and applying could save your family up to £500 per child each year while helping make sure your child has a healthy lunch ready for the new school year.

Amazing A-Level and Vocational Results at Lord Grey Academy 13th August 2026

Lord Grey Academy is proud to announce another successful year of A-Level and Vocational results, celebrating the hard work, determination, and achievements of our Sixth Form students.

This year’s results reflect the resilience and ambition of our students, who have overcome challenges with maturity and focus. Many are now progressing to top universities, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities, ready to take their next steps with confidence.

Principal, Mrs Samantha Satyanadhan, said:
“We are incredibly proud of all of our students. We have the highest number of top grades A*/A than ever before and really strong vocational outcomes. All of our students have shown that Lord Grey Can. Their achievements are a testament not only to their ambition, hard work, and resilience, but to the dedication of our staff and the support of our families and wider community. Whether our students are heading to university, into apprenticeships or the world of work, we are confident they will go on to achieve great things.”

At A level nearly 20% of the cohort achieved A*/A.
University places secured at Nottingham, Bristol and Exeter
Apprenticeships secured at Merkur Casino, SMS Cranfield and Thames Valley Police.

Head of Sixth Form, Jason Darvall, added: I'm so proud of this cohort of students, they have always exemplified our values and standards. Entrance: Please enter via Main Reception and head into the Hall to collect your results.
