Kelly & Kids Nursery

Here at Kelly & Kids Nursery we have been exploring a range of different activities associated with the coronation of King Charles III 👑The children have been making crowns and having discussions about Royalty and what they would do if they were to be Kings or Queens.
The children especially enjoyed our tea party with some tasty treats.

Now spring has hit, the children are taking part in spring activities, from planting seeds to observational drawings of flowers. 🌼🥀

Good morning everyone. We hope you all had a wonderful New Year! It's so nice to see the children back with smiles on their faces.

Over the last few weeks the children have been celebrating Chinese New Year. They have been creating different crafts as well as making a stir-fry too.🥢

We have been practicing our balancing skills, going on a bear hunt and have also been searching for numbers under a volcano eruption.

Good morning everyone!! Only 10 more days until Santa comes!!

We have had a very silly elf that has been hiding from the children over the last few weeks. He has been up to all sorts of funny business from cooking eggs to fishing for food.

The children have been very busy creating different Christmas crafts for their folders that they have been taking home this week. Here at nursery the children have been really interested in Christmas activities as well. They have been playing with a foam snowman and a cereal Christmas pudding.

Good morning everyone and a very happy Friday. We hope you have had a great week.

IT'S SPACE AND SCIENCE WEEK!!! The children have had lots of fun doing amazing science experiments and learning all about space and what's in it.

The children have visited the beach and made some big sandcastles whilst there. We have also made a bug hotel for our bugs to stay a night or two.

These are just a few of the fun activities that the children have enjoyed.

The children have been super busy during the 6 weeks holiday. They have been outside using our new tee-pee tent, making ice-cream and making music to go with our nursery rhymes.

We cant wait to see all of our wonderful children next week and hear all about their time off. We would also like to welcome our new starters to Kelly & Kids too.

Good Morning to everyone at Kelly & Kids.
We have had an amazing few weeks here enjoying the beautiful weather. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our school leavers who have left us for the school holidays and who will be starting their next adventure at big school. From all the staff at Kelly & Kids we wish you all the very best.

Over the last few weeks the children have enjoyed playing with and building a house out of our new toys. They have made a boat for the sea too and we also found some mermaids as well. The children have also enjoyed planting some Basil in our new plant pots for our garden. We spoke about all the different herbs there are and what we can use them for when we cook.

Over the last few weeks the children at Kelly & Kids have been exploring new and different activities. We have been going on a bear hunt, we flew to space and back and we also met some fairies. The children have also loved doing their hair and make-up and dressing up as a builder to make houses.

Celebrating 70 years!! 👑🎊

This week we have been celebrating the queen's platinum jubilee with the children who will not be here on the half term week.

We have been decorating crowns,👑 talking about the queen's Corgi's 🐶 and exploring sensory play with the rice.

We have all had lots of fun celebrating Chinese new year this week. This year is the year of the Tiger 🐯

The children have explored noodles had discussions about different types of Chinese food 🥠🥢🥡 and made some lovely looking masks.

The staff even set up some lovely activities around our tiger theme.
